CS's Jackson,Miss — Restaurant in Jackson

The food was pretty good. I wasn’t expecting canned mushrooms with cheddar cheese, but the flavor didn’t disappoint on my burger. Sweet tea was lovely.

Right across the street from the college, so not too hard to find, and plenty of parking around the establishment.

My boyfriend and I came around lunch time. People were constantly in and out.

We admired the walls with all their stickers, political signs, and what have you memorabilia that showcase how long this place has been around.

All I can say is that the bathrooms should be demolished and they try that again. Also just a more inviting atmosphere. One waitress was working and it was as though she purposefully looked over our table/requests to serve ‘regulars’.

Not sure how I felt with the other patrons in the establishment, but at the end, the owner shook our hands and invited us back again. We’ll see cause they look to have a mighty fine...

I hate to say it, but this place doesn’t seem to be doing well. Went in there yesterday to get burger and it was lunch rush hour. There were 4 people in there. Inez told me it had been like that for a while. I ordered a burger and it was okay, but the fries should have been left in the garbage! They were those cheap crinkle fries, not the good ones, but the brand like Best Choice. I ate two and left them alone. I love Inez, but not sure they are gonna make it if they continue on like this. I will probably give it a couple more tries and see. Posted pic on page of burger and fries. They skimped on lettuce and onion was just a big center cut chunk I had to slice up smaller. I miss the old steak fries!...

They have delicious lunch specials that will make you come back for more but the hamburgers are what they are known for. One of the best in Jackson.. favorite is the Suzy burger but you can't go wrong with any pick! You might be taken back with all the beer cans and the bumper stickers everywhere but the atmosphere is exactly perfect. It gets croweded at lunch so make your plans to go early!! This is a good restaurant for a quick lunch. Their hamburgers are their forte'. It is typically quite busy and is very casual.
