Hope Café & Store — Restaurant in Jackson

I frequent here most Thursday’s for their Pork Chop specials. I have given other things a try, and have never been disappointed. Everything is delicious, comes out quick and fresh. It’s an amazing LOCAL organization helping those in recovery as well so you feel good about where your money goes, and did I mention, it’s local?

The waitresses are always friendly, attentive and make sure you have everything you need.

The seating areas are great and spacious. They have nice, clean bathrooms.

They are handicap accessible with two ramps (one inside which connects the lower level to the upper level, and of course one outside.)

The parking is decent and plentiful. It may take a minute getting out onto the main road, But that’s not their fault nor a big deal.

The one & only con I have is they don’t serve fresh cut fries anymore (bring them back lol.)

The food from here is awesome. The best loaded potato in town. The best hamburgers in town. The best brisket and bbq in town. Had smoked pulled chicken sandwich om goodness!! Wish they were open all day every day, but I know these ladies have other commitments, and the greatest commitment is to the Lord and themselves!! I have to add more. I just cannot say enough about this hidden treasure. I ordered hope muffins ,which are really more like an old school, from scratch super moist pound cake . I used them to make the best strawberry shortcake for Easter. Everyone at Easter dinner went on and on about how I had outdone myself. Well I had to fess up and give the hope cafe team the credit. Really I can't encourage you enough to give this restaurant, that supports a worthy, life changing...

Wonderful place with wonderful staff & food! We were looking for a place to eat yesterday and my husband found this cute little place but didn’t look at the time they closed. We came in and were greeted in such a nice way, we ordered our food (for 7 people) so it took us a little while. We didn’t realize by the time we ordered, they had been closed for 15 minutes. We felt so bad and apologized because again, we didn’t look at the time they closed and their response was “we love serving people so even if we have to stay after, we love it” and that is absolutely 5 star service.
