My fiancé and I have been waiting for our refund for about 3 months now. The owners have not ONCE reached out to us and apologized or updated us. We have been patiently waiting for our money since we cancelled our venue for our wedding on March 13th or 14th! As we tried to cancel, the event coordinator tried to talk us out of it and on top of that they wanted to charge us for the room fee we never used at all. We was told that the only thing that was not refundable is the deposit which was $100 & they’re taking almost $300 from us. The worst part is that we had a verbal agreement with the event planner and chef (we thought was from the kindness of their hearts) to hold all our money until we have fully paid off our balance for our wedding. They agree not to send it to the accountant until we paid off the balance. Then the day we decided to cancel it they told us they already sent it to the accountant without OUR CONSENT! We patiently waited a week, then checked in the status on our refund and we was told our money was stolen from a robbery that was was reported on March 6th & we cancelled way after that! Not once have anyone reached out to us until we went up there to check on the status! Every since then we have been waiting for our refund and had to postpone our wedding date several times! We was praying we would get our refund for our wedding on time for our next wedding date, but we didn’t, so now we had to cancel our whole wedding & on top of that we have 5 children & we have asked about our money over and over and the owners have not eat reached out to us or gave us anything in return! This put so much stress on my family and I never would of thought I would go through anything like this ever! My fiancé was very upset, as she should be, and she was called stupid, laughed at, and handled unprofessionally by the event coordinator! We will never trust these people ever again and we have been trying to be so nice to them and patient with them as well and we still don’t have any refund yet!! If this doesn’t get handled ASAP, we will definitely be taking legal actions soon, but we’re really trying our best to be patient and respectful!! This was very unprofessional and very bad...
Read moreSaw their post from Facebook for breakfast so decided to go this morning and try their breakfast. I just want to say we were there waiting and sitting long enough to lose our appetite! Some how people who came after us got their food first and then we got our food before someone else who ordered before us, so there is no system when placing your order. We literally say 3 different sets of people walk out because they we’re taking to long to even approach them and offer them drinks!! I myself had to go to front desk and ask for menus for a couple because they had been sitting there for so long, another customer told this same couple “don’t even waste your time, because you will still be waiting!”
I understand short staff and having patience but this was beyond short staff and patience. This was just bad customer service all around. The food here is always amazing, but the grits were so hard that I just ate the shrimp and their...
Read morePros: Food was delicious. I'll recommend the breakfast steak and the Cuban sandwich. Coffee was great! Nice decor. Very relax atmosphere, perfect to share it with friends. Cons: You have to order first before getting a table. Menu list did not reflected such a nice place. It was a piece of paper with a plastic protector. We waited a long time before getting our coffees. Actually, they forgot about us. I think the reason for such hiccup has to do with the fact that there was no waiter in the dining room. We had to walk back to the front and remind them of our order. A mop was leaning against one of the table for a long time. I may sound a little harsh, but I believed Biagio's have the potential to become the place where everybody wants to go for a great coffee or eat great food for that matter! If you just pay attention to the little details, it will be a much better place! Other than that, I will be...
