Black Rose Tavern — Restaurant in Jacksonville

Never been parked my car in front of their establishment to wash my clothes. Then went to foodlion to shop while clothes was drying. Idk if it was the owner or a person working there.. but they had the nerve to walk up to my vehicle and ask my husband to move the cart on the sidewak. #1 don't walk up to my car or anyone's for that matter. I'm from detriot and you don't that because you dont know what a person have on them or shats in their car. Case in point my pit. My pit went the hell off. Know what if she woulda bit him? This place is filled with good times and great people. I've always enjoyed myself and they've welcome ME & MY SERVICE ANIMAL WITH OPEN ARMS. Being a business owner and consumer in North Carolina is difficult bc there is so much shady business and a huge lack of professionalism... Black Rose Tavern has always had a pleasant group of people that have a variety of ages and colors. I will reccomend this place to people for years to come!!! Cheers...

Very fun place. They have poker 3 nights a week. Jody the bar tender is awesome and so are the rest. The owners are very personable and treat you like family. They have EVERY NFL game on, so if your like me and not from NC you'll definitely get to see your team play. They also have food on game days.
