Today was an EXTREMELY uncomfortable situation with a very rude waitress. We went on 10/1 at 2:45pm. She never told us her name and I can't rememeber it being on her shirt or anything. So when we got there my parents (who plz understand are quite older) had difficulty deciding what they wanted. Fine. I get it, but this lady was extremely impatient! Once we decided she seemed to have freaked out saying she's so confused and doesn't know what they want. After all the mumbo jumbo they decided on the asada dinner (mind you, HER SUGGESTION) after originally ordering the taco version. So 3 TIMES we told her the dinner not the tacos. Well she ordered the tacos and when told we wanted the dinner, She raised her voice and spoke rudely "well you all didn't say that and were very confusing." You suggested the dinner and my last words to you were DINNNER NOT TACOS. How is it that after your own suggestions and my clarity, you still didn't get that right? We also didn't have utencils and my sister didn't have her tortillas. The Lady told us they were getting warmed up, so great! Sooooo.... My dad finally got his dinner but still no tortillas. My sister said "can I have my tortillas?" And the lady walked away without a word and came bk, half threw them on the table and walked away without a word. HOW UNPROFESSIONAL!!!. My sister said YOURE RUDE and once again she raised her voice saying "well you're rude too I can say the same thing about you" in front of her new customers and everything. I asked for a manager and no manager!! She said,, well there's no manager on site and gave me this meaaan look.. Why is there no manager? I hope someone on site had their managers food handlers certificate! Good grief...you were rude and impatient from the beginning but we are rude?! What??? We came here bc of the reviews...like what happened? This was our first restaurant in Florida. We live in...

i have tried this close, local location 5 times since moving here. i fully understand im used to more authentic food because of my hometown, but this restaurant seems to be 5 stars only to the regulars who never drive more than 5 miles for food. Last night took the cake for me, i WON'T be going back. For starters, my server was only super friendly when giving me my bill. i saw her exert her great customer service on every other table but mine, and it was supposed to be a special dinner for my son and i. the last waiter was great despite the sub-par food and i tipped him 15 bucks for treating us so well.i tried to not take personally the fact that EVERYTHING i ordered she felt the need to remind me of the price and upcharges- im a single mom, not a broke *. i know what a large cheese dip costs...its on the menu...and pico is always extra if not on the dish...anyway, the cheese dip my son was so excited about was cold and had NO flavor, my fajita quesadilla was mostly tomatoes and onions, and my waitress never asked about refills. she clearly just wanted us to eat and pay, as she had better tables to tend to. well, now you'll never have to worry about us sitting at your table...

Edited 3/6/21 This restaurant has an emergency closure order from the local health department. They found 17 total violations, including 37 dead roaches and 14 live ones. Three of those live ones were found hanging out with the cooked rice in the warmer. 🤦🏼‍♀️ It took the restaurant more than 3 more inspections to clear the roaches before they could reopen. I will not be returning. :(

We had a great experience here tonight. I believe my waitpersons name was Ashley, she was an excellent server. She kept her mask on, didn’t touch her face, was prompt bringing out drinks, apps and food. The food was better than I expected. My mom has been searching for Texas rice, and found it here in the form of a fajita nacho salad, but sub rice instead of chips. I had the taco sampler and I ate all that I could, it was delicious. The chorizo taco was my favorite, with the carnitas a close second. All the meats were seasoned and juicy. I couldn’t find a single complaint with the meal.

I am glad I brought wipes, because the napkins they give you are weak- but that’s like a non issue Unless you’re feeding a baby...

Went on a Saturday afternoon. The restaurant seemed pretty dead. There were no instructions as to if we sat ourselves or needed to wait for seating. We decided to wait for someone to acknowledge us. We were seated after about 2 minutes of waiting. It appeared that they only had 2 servers that afternoon. Our drink order was taken quickly. However, our food order was not. It took about 20 minutes for our food to come out. I only make a point in saying that because i read the menu and noticed their complimentary chip policy. The first 2 are free the rest are a $2.50. Meaning, the longer your food takes to come the more chips you consume, which could lead to extra charges if you don't read fine print. Food: The food was authentic and pretty good. The shrimp for the tacos were big. The Especial Burrito was dreams come true. Its two meaty burritos seated on a bed of rice or beans (i picked rice) topped with lettuce, guac, sour cream, and a slice of tomato. The fajitas quesadilla was good too.

I rarely write about a server. Jordan, my server, is a rare breed. Attentive. Articulate. Personable. Friendly. Happy. Able to read the customer. Rarely do you find such young talent well beyond his years. He went above and beyond asking if I needed things before even asking for them. Gave me lemons and to-go cup before I opened my mouth. He could develop in the food industry as a manager/owner/chef at a top Michelin restaurant. The sky’s the limit. Please give him a promotion or managerial role. He’s got the spark. The food on the other hand was middle of the road. I had the Texana Fajitas. No real punch spice-wise. Nice chips and salsa though.
