This place was definitely busy with to go orders and hardly anyone eating at the restaurant inside when we got there. We sat towards the back. It took a while to get drinks and orders placed. Multiple people were coming in and out for take out orders. I only saw the same woman running around trying to take care of everything. We ordered Tuna Tataki as a starter. My kiddo had white rice and some beef and veggies from my friends plate. I ordered the butterfly roll. Now the thing that probably bothered me the most, is that whatever sauce they used on my roll, had some kind of wasabi in it. This wasn't stated on the menu. I cannot do spicy and I didn't even want to eat my roll at that point. I tried dousing it in yum yum sauce to cover the wasabi, but it still cut through some. Please post that there is wasabi in a sauce you use for sushi rolls so people with gastrointestinal problems like me, don't have to suffer later. My kiddo used the restroom at some point. We saw the bottom of the door was broken. There was a sign posted but it was still off putting to have a broken door. I'd probably just get to go food in the future from here since that's where their main focus is.

So up until now never really had a problem ordering from Sushi Wok, actually order here pretty regularly. Today ordered Crunchy Tuna and Dynamite and Crunchy Tuna was fine but Dynamite had bad Salmon in it. I bit into the Dynamite and it tasted awful which is rare, I pulled the rolls open and noticed the salmon was brown/black in some spots which is not normal. I contacted the restaurant thinking that it would be a no issue to get it replaced seeing as I paid $9.50 for the Dynamite roll alone but was told that Salmon is always fresh every 2 days and it may be skin attached to it???????? Say what? You put fish skin in your rolls? Anyhow, I was then told to contact door dash for a refund cause Sushi Wok doesnt handle the money....which again blew my mind lol....The restaurant is ran by door dash and door dash is responsible for your bad food? BIG JOKE! Used to like this place but their blatant disregard for a regular customers satisfaction from something that could make someone sick is un acceptable. Wont be ordering ANYTHING here again. Hope Sushi Wok is happy with their $9.50. Horrible customer service.

Order at your own risk. I've been a customer of theirs for a while now, but this last interaction with them has turned me off of them completely. Ordered a Hibachi Shrimp Bento box (includes clear soup, salad, fried rice, and California rolls) from them for 19 dollars. We finally receive our order and realize we're missing the soup, salad, fried rice, and California rolls. I call in to let them know, so at the very least, we can get a refund for those items; only to be told that because of "miscommunication" there's nothing they can do about not providing us with the items we paid for....even though it plainly says on the receipt what we paid for. They even put green and red peppers on the order after we specifically asked NOT to have them added. To make a long story short, they cheated us entirely out of 19 dollars and made no effort at all to fix the situation. If you ever have an issue with them, and the fault is on them, they'll find a reason to make it your fault. Will never order from them again.

I rarely ever leave bad reviews especially after having only visited a place once but I must say this was the absolute worst sushi I have ever had. I ordered take out, which was a Cali Salad (crab meat and cucumber with sauce and the little red fish eggs) and a dynomite roll. I hadn't looked at their menu so I just stuck with something simple that I knew pretty much any sushi spot would have and likely be mastered at since it's a popular dish. When I went to pick up, it wasn't ready, even though I had gotten there about 20 minutes after I called my order in and they had said it would take 10-15 minutes. No big deal. I went outside and walked the strip and came back about 5 minutes later. The lady was very pleasant and nice. She handed me a bag, thanked me politely and I went to leave. I stuck my hand in the bag on my way out the door and grabbed a piece of fried chicken, which is not what I ordered. I brought it back, told her it wasn't right and explained what I ordered, and also told her I had put my hand on the food. She apologized and handed me my actual order, which was right this time. I asked for shrimp sauce and she said she was sorry, that they charged for that. At that point I was in a hurry to get back to work so I just said no thanks. I got in my truck to go and saw a woman walk in. As I was pulling out she walked right back out with the same bag I had reached my hand in. Now I know they didn't fry fresh chicken for her that fast (and the place was dead with only one single customer inside so it's not likely they had a ton of fresh fried chicken in there ready to be served) so that tells me that even though the lady knew I had put my bare hand directly on the food she served it to the next customer anyways. I am a clean person and am not sick but to me that is still disgusting and I wouldn't want anyone putting their hand on my food like that. I was hesitang to try the food after that but I was hungry and didn't have enough time to stop anywhere else so I gave the salad a try. I literally spit it back into the bowl. The crab meat with the sauce tasted rancid! Upon inspection of the dynomite roll, I found that it was nothing like any dynomite roll I have ever eaten. It has the exact crab meat and sauce mixture inside the deep fried roll but absolutely nothing else. No veggies or anything. The smell was just like the salad I had eaten. It was awful and should have never been served. Must have been out for too long or something. I don't know much about the regulations of food prep and storage but this has to be some sort of violation. Looking at other reviews on here and other places I see that multiple others have complained about the same smell of their food. Most of the good reviews praise their hot food and not the sushi. I should have looked at all this before trying it. Would definitely never recommend. Maybe the hot food is great and yes, the service seemed friendly enough but in no way does that make the food...

I wish i could give zero reviews. I wouldn't order here unless i want to get cursed out. Yes both of their delivery drivers cursed me out at my place of business. All because at first i didn't know that the 6 additional dollars i paid to have my food delivered doesn't go to the driver's. Instead of the first driver explaining that to me he cursed me out. Told the owner i didn't want him to deliver again. Waited a few months and ordered again. This time i was prepared to give a tip, but this young guy came in with an attitude and literally tossed my receipt to me and told me to sign with an attitude. So at that point i kept my tip. He told me to F* off, and to go F* myself. I told him i would tell his boss and he said they told him to say it. Told the owner and she laughed and said "oh he told me if y'all didn't tip he was going to do that". So as a owner whose employee TOLD her AHEAD of time what he was going to do instead of difusing the situation she egged it on. Even after the last conversation about the last driver i advised her i would start tipping, but i didn't know they weren't getting ANY of the delivery fee money. Anyways her apology was to tell me instead of doing delivery to come pick it up or use uber. I will NOT spend my money here anymore or let anyone i know...
