Dairy Queen Grill & Chill — Restaurant in Jacksonville

My daughter and I went to Dairy Queen on July 14th through the drive thru I ordered a s’mores blizzard for my daughter and a chocolate based butterfinger for 11$ I payed and then I waited around over 15 mins for them to give me my blizzards. They gave me my s’mores blizzard for my daughter and then they gave me a vanilla blizzard with butterfinger in it I thought it was a mistake them giving me vanilla instead of the chocolate based butterfinger that I asked for so I went back to the drive thru and I told them I asked for a chocolate based butterfinger and they gave me vanilla then they said “we don’t have chocolate anymore it discontinued in December” when I first ordered my food they didn’t tell me that they didn’t have chocolate i asked for a chocolate based butterfinger they never told me that they didn’t have chocolate anymore and they also didn’t offer to give me my money back i order chocolate based butterfinger blizzard they didn’t say anything to me about them discontinuing chocolate in December when I ordered and payed for it. The workers weren’t disrespectful to me they just didn’t tell me that they didn’t have chocolate and didn’t tell me that choclate was discontinued until I came back into the drive thru and ask them for my choclate blizzard that I asked for because I thought they made a mistake and gave me vanilla on accident but no they gave me vanilla on purpose when I asked for chocolate butterfinger blizzard and again didn’t tell me that chocolate was discontinued until I came back thru the drive thru. I then just wasted 5-7$ on a blizzard that’s I didn’t ask for and they never even gave me my money back they basically scammed me I didn’t ask for vanilla I asked for chocolate. But about their food my daughter who ordered the s’mores blizzard she said it was very good. Has anyone else have this problem I had because I am very upset about it I had a terrible day and just wanted a nice chocolate blizzard with butterfinger meanwhile they gave me vanilla blizzard without even telling me that chocolate was discontinued until I went back thru the drive thru. The Dairy Queen at Bartram Park has the most rudest girl at the counter I have ever experienced. I went inside the lobby about 12:30pmi on Saturday 9/17 and only 3 other customers was in side the lobby and the drive thur had about 2 cars so they were not busy at all.

I received DQ coupons in the mail I used the signature combo coupon and I wanted to the .99 cent Blizzard coupon.

The girl at the counter said she couldn't and wouldn't do that because it would be 2 coupons person.

I explained that in the writing on the coupon it says only 1 item per coupon that means I could only get one Blizzard per coupon not that I couldn't use both coupons one for the meal and one the Blizzard.

I then so could you take another order for the Blizzard and she said no one coupon per customer.

I said ok I will go out of the restaurant and come back in and have you ring me up for the Blizzard Coupon.

She replied you do what you want here your food, I said really she then said look you got your food just get out.

On this day there were 3 managers in train and I went to talk with them and the same girl at the counter said that they can't help me there only managers in training.

I was like WOW!

I told there what happened anyway and they said they really couldn't do anything and would talk with the manager who was training them.

Over all I will save my money and never go into that DQ again.

Although I do have a Podcast talk radio show and this will be a very good topic.

Sorry DQ your going to get bad press to about 9,000 Jacksonville Florida...

Me and my 6 yr old came in tonight, 12/10 for some blizzards. upon being helped at the register, i hear who i later found out was “audree” screaming at her coworkers. i ignore it. then ms audree calls my order number, as im grabbing my cone she says “its not pretty, she made it” pointing to a coworker behind the counter. i thought “yikes that wasnt nice”. then me and my child sit to enjoy our treats. but it becomes clear audree is having a bad night. as i continue to hear her scream profanties at coworkers, and even go as far as calling one a “blonde b**”. at this point im disgusted. (especially because my child is hearing this go on) another employee is cleaning off tables, trying hard to steer clear of audrees wrath. and another young man was taking trash out as audree screamed at him that he needs to get all of the cans. i asked the young girl if everythings ok, and reassured her she doesnt deserve nor have to be spoken to like that. i asked for the name of the person screaming at coworkers and she said audree, as shes on the brink of tears from mistreatment. i told her i’d be making a report to corperate. she then informed me that “audree” has been fired and rehired multiple times, despite the circumstances and her behavior. so i hope this review puts things into perspective for the owners of this particular DQ. ABSOLUTELY ATROCIOUS AND DISGUSTING TO LET SUCH BEHAVIOR CONTINUE ON, AND TO SUBJECT YOUR VERY YOUNG EMPLOYEES TO THIS TYPE OF TREATMENT....
