I've been here twice in a week with my teenage boys. Staff is super friendly, it wasn't super busy at the times I have visited between 3-5. We did the all you can eat but they also have a full menu to pick from. The waiter uses a handheld device for ordering so you aren't having to write numbers on a ticket like some other places we have been to. They have a variety of appetizers, salads, tempura items, small hibachi plates and sushi. They have over a dozen items to choose as sashimi or sushi and my son tried the octopus, something he wouldn't typically get. They have raw and cooked rolls, lots of them with tuna, shrimp or krab and a handful with salmon, eel and even soft shell crab. The sushi rolls are typically 4 pieces, so you can get a variety and not fill up too much. I thought it was a great deal @$30 each and we had soup, seaweed salad, apps, sushi and rolls. They serve beer and wine and my son got a Boba tea for @$5 which he loved. I'm partial to Sauvignon Blanc wine with my sushi but they don't have it, yet, they had all the other popular wine options. Great place for all you can eat if you like to try small plates so you can get a great variety of options. I thought my server was Marc but the receipts say otherwise but he was super nice, never had to ask for water or soda refills, empty plates were cleared quickly and food quality was great.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at an all-you-can-eat sushi restaurant, and I can confidently say it was a delightful experience from start to finish. The moment I stepped in, I was impressed by the clean and welcoming atmosphere that set the stage for a great meal. The presentation of every dish was truly on point. Each plate was artfully arranged, showcasing the vibrant colors and textures of the sushi. It was evident that the chefs take great pride in their craft, and it made every bite even more enjoyable. I appreciated the attention to detail, which elevated the overall dining experience. I visited on a Wednesday for lunch, and I was amazed by how fast the service was. My orders arrived promptly, and the staff was incredibly attentive throughout my meal. They were always available to refill drinks and take new orders, ensuring that we felt well taken care of without feeling rushed. At just $18 per person, the value for the quality and variety of sushi offered was excellent. This place is definitely worth a visit if you're looking for an affordable and satisfying sushi option. I left feeling full and satisfied, and I can't wait to return for another delicious meal. Overall, I highly recommend this all-you-can-eat sushi spot for anyone craving a fantastic sushi experience!

Food was overall very good and fresh. None of the raw fish or eel had a "fishy" taste to it. Presentation looks great as well. Not thrown onto the plate to be as fast as possible. Cleanliness was not something i was worried about considering they just renovated. Bathroom sink did put out a big blast of water i was not expecting so some of it got on myself 😅 Atmosphere was pretty warming. It wasnt cramped as other AYCE places and they had ample room (probably had 30-40 -2x2 booths). We were eating from 7pm-8pm and were one of 2 groups of people eat. There were 3 pick up orders in the hour we were there. Would we go back? Short answer is Yes, but only on Sunday. Long answer... As good as the food was i did not get to try many rolls due to the fact that they serve full sized rolls. Id still opt into going to Fuji Sushi or Sushi X Monday thru Saturday because prices are slightly cheaper and portions are smaller resulting in a more of a variety experience.

How on earth does this place have 4.4 stars?

The servers are very polite, I wish the food reflected. I will say that much but the food... smh. Atmosphere had no authenticity but appeared to be clean.

$75 before tip should have tasted a lot better than this.. Low grade tuna (comes ground from supplier as they told us) then mushed with tempura flake to save money on cost of already the cheapest tuna available (had an off tinge to it). Avocado was firm, not ripe and still served. I understand that every place has it's own take on a dish but.. Poke bowl was the laziest attempt I've ever seen. First the brown rice. Not seasoned with sushi rice vinegar. Not seasoned at all, (tastes like microwave uncle bens then served). Lg is $16.75 w/avocado. Fish portion was on the small side and the onion was cut three times the size of a sugar cube. Only Shrek likes onion that much.. Seriously, I still only taste onion.. (Yes, I've brushed. lol) The ingredients were there but very poorly executed. If I had a knife to finish doing their job it would have been much tastier. The Avenues mall has a way better Poke Bowl for $5 less. Sushi ..."chef...," maybe, appeared unhappy about the critique. Sad when publix sushi outshines a sit-down restaurant. "chef" If you're reading this, Julienne the onion, thinly. And smaller chunks of cucumber as well. No larger than a sugar cube. The ingredients should work together, not fight each other. These cucumber were triple the size of a sugar cube. Mix the fish, sauce, veggies in a bowl, plate it then toppings and garnish. Should also have bit of Kanikama & kewpie mix as part of the dish. Bottom line. If the food is that bad, no level of service will bring a customer back. Great food with bad service will still bring in customers. This was...

We have eaten here 5 or 6 times now, and each visit was excellent. We have always done the all-you-can-eat menu, and the quality of the food is the best we have had at any sushi restaurant, both here in the Jacksonville area and on Long Island, where we moved from 3 years ago. The selection of fish is the greatest variety we have seen, and the portions are not what you would expect from an all-you-can-eat restaurant; whether you order sushi or sashimi, the portions are large and the fish is fresh and tasty. My favorites are the tuna, white tuna, yellowtail and red snapper. The appetizers are just as good; I always get the gyoza (either fried or steamed), the pepper tuna and the jalapeño yellowtail. My wife loves the kani salad and the crab rangoon as well. We have introduced Tsunami to several of our friends, and this is now the only place we eat at when we want Sushi.

Update - June 19, 2025: we got there before the rush, and they seated us at the last booth by the window, which I affectionately called the Black Hole Booth. Sure enough, after Marc took our drink order and brought them to our table he proceeded to forget we even existed. Finally, after getting another waiter to send him over, we gave him our order. Point of information: if you are ordering appetizers, especially hot ones, do NOT give him sushi or sashimi orders at the same time, unless you don’t care which order your dinner comes out. He continued to ignore us, even had to find someone to have him bring us our check. On a positive note, when I ordered more sushi another waitress came over and told me she had put a rush on the order. We will certainly continue to eat there for our sushi fixes, but I we were a little...

Went here for lunch yesterday with friends and the service was terrible. One of us was here during his lunch break so he only had an hour to eat. He ended up leaving without eating much because of how slow they were. The restaurant wasn’t full when we got here. About 60%. We saw some people were standing around at the counter. We flagged them down, but it still took them 30 minutes to get our drink orders. The girl who got our drink orders was in a bad mood and acted as if we were annoyances the whole time. She was short and impatient. We asked for a kid’s water to be in a togo cup to avoid spillage and she responded “I know”. She didn’t give us any plates or utensils until we asked a different person. We were given dinner menus to order from and were switched to lunch menus when we asked for it. Just a heads up, no soups, sashimi, or hibachi in the lunch menu. Wish I had taken some photos to show. The first plate came out when we were already there for 50 minutes. We spent 2 hours in total. The wait for food was not too bad when they got our orders, but don’t expect the food comes out fast. We didn’t want to leave any tips due to the bad services; however, the second girl who got our food orders was nicer and we would hate to not give her anything. Wish there were a way to only give it to her knowing the tips would be split at the end of the day. Overall the food was better than other ayce places, but the services really had us think twice...
