Wonderful donut shop w/ friendly staff :) Their customer service is excellent and it shows! They have a kid area too, which is great for parents :) I think the owner is Filipino, or Vietnamese, which is welcoming to see !!! They serve homemade egg rolls, and have Ube flavored drinks as well, they have an Asian twist on things, which I am all for being from California :) !!!) One man was managing the counter and creating drinks while another man was making the sandwiches in the back, they did well tag teaming it, and still helping the line and keep customers upbeat and know they are next in an efficient manner! (Props, not very many ppl at all are good multitasking or hustling in food service, but they do it here and I have tremendous respect for that!!!) They player good music too in their shop! I ordered 5 donuts, and the original sando, it is also nice that you can sub meats or cheese on their menu which is great for picky eaters like me! (egg, subbed for turkey, havarti, scallion butter, parsley) and asked the man which donut was his favorite, he said the cookie butter, and I asked if it was too sweet or sickly, and replied not at all! I said maybe next time then :) He was very generous and said, I will just give you a cookie butter donut on the house, (that was very kind of him) and I didn’t realize he did until I got in the car and looked! He did it so quickly, and I hope he knows that made my day and that if they keep up their excellent customer service, it will always pay off ! It is vital and they know it! You can tell they love their job, it shines thru 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼✨✨✨The sandwich was ok, the turkey meat tasted a little inexpensive (maybe it was smoked?) and a little gummy, the rest of the sandwich was tasty and on point!! I like that they used a unsweetened donut as the “bun” The butter is nice and the parsley adds nice color to the food! The donuts I got altogether were the strawberry, coffee, 2 crème brûlée’s, and and a sugar cinnamon. All were flavorful and not too sweet 😋! I especially liked the strawberry, the acid and sweet paired nicely , and they do it right by using fresh strawberries (you can see the berry flecks) 🍓! The coffee has actual specks of coffee grounds, and not over powering ☕️! The crème brûlée has a wonderful carmelized top, that was fun to crunch, I do wish there was a little more filling, and it had set a little bit more (it was a tad runny) it was a little sparse in parts but overall taste was on scrumptious, and I would get again! I’m grateful he gave a me cookie butter because he was right, it was really tasty! Not too sweet at all like he said :) All donuts are decorated nicely and with nice colors that aren’t artificial looking! I would highly recommend to anyone to stop by, and enjoy their wonderful selection of donuts, drinks, sandwiches and more! and will be back 😊! Thank you for such a wonderful and warm experience being the first time at doughfee 🍩🍩🍩 ! I wish this place all the best 💫✨🙌🏼✌🏼!!!

We went to the opening and were very well taken care of while waiting with samples of donuts (coconut), lemonade and mimosas. Once we made it to the counter it was clear the reason for the back up, everyone was waiting to check out. We wanted to try their drinks but because of the wait for drinks we decided not to. We tried four donuts and sadly none of them thrilled us. All of our donuts were left unfinished and we ended up throwing them out which has never happened to us since our two kids are obsessed with donuts. We decided to give them another try and get a donut without their glaze as it could just be our personal taste that does not enjoy the glaze they used on their strawberry, chocolate, sandy beach and maple bacon. While in line we noticed a couple flies landing on the donuts, and while I’m well aware there may be flies on other food I’ve purchased in the past from restaurants that have food prepared out of my sight, knowingly purchasing donuts that have have had flies on them deterred me from doing ordering donuts a second time. Another customer a few customers ahead of us pointed out which donut they witnessed a fly land on to a staff member and the staff member acknowledged her but did not remove the donut from the display case. We did purchase two drinks, an iced coffee and one of their loffee drinks. After six minutes of waiting we realized no one was making our drinks so we kindly reminded the employee we were waiting on our drinks to which he immediately got them right out to us within a couple minutes. Both were enjoyed but it was interesting that since the opening their prices of their drinks have increased; possibly their grand opening prices were special for that one day and I just didn’t think of that. Overall we won’t be frequenting this place as often as we originally anticipated when we first heard of the opening.

We had never heard of Doughfee, but when we realized our original destination wouldn’t open for another hour, we decided to pivot and give them a try—and we’re so glad we did! The staff behind the counter were incredibly friendly and welcoming, creating such a warm atmosphere right off the bat. Their selection of donuts is amazing, with a variety of creative flavors, plus they offer some fancy breakfast sandwiches and an impressive menu of coffee and drinks. We tried the coconut vanilla, chocolate iced, chocolate iced with sprinkles, and strawberry iced donuts. I also ordered an iced peppermint mocha latte, while my husband opted for chocolate milk. I was not prepared for how soft the donuts were—it was like biting into a cloud! What an absolute treat! The only issue we encountered was the menu design: the orange font on a white background was hard to read and made it tricky to browse quickly. However, that was a minor hiccup compared to the overall experience. We also loved the thoughtful extras they offer, like a play area for kids and a little merchandise corner featuring items from local artists, authors, and vendors. I even spotted a children’s book written by a friend of mine, which was such a fun surprise! Now I have a great excuse to come back for another donut and to check out the adorable crochet creations. Overall, Doughfee is an absolute delight and a place I highly recommend. Whether you’re stopping by for donuts, coffee, or a friendly atmosphere, it’s a gem worth discovering!

Oh boy, let me tell you about my mind-blowing experience at Doughfee! This place is not your ordinary doughnut and coffee shop - it's a magical blend of modern vibes and cozy, family feels. 🍩☕️

Now, let me warn you, my journey to taste their gluten-free doughnuts had a few hiccups. I attempted to visit four times before finally getting my hands on their irresistibly delicious GF doughnuts, which are only available on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. Don't make the same mistake I did and show up on the wrong days! But trust me, it was absolutely worth the wait. 🕒

During my multiple visits, even when they were out of GF doughnuts, I couldn't resist grabbing some of their regular ones for my hubby and co-workers. Let me tell you, everyone I shared them with raved about how good they were! They especially loved the Maple Bacon doughnuts, which they described as the perfect blend of bacon and sweet. The dough itself received praises left and right for its incredible texture and taste, easily earning a solid 10 out of 10. 😍

Let's talk about the service - Ton and Delma, the owners, are just the cutest! Their warmth and friendliness added an extra layer of joy to the whole experience. Ton even recommended the Brown Butter Cookie Butter doughnut to me, and let me tell you, my co-workers said it was simply to die for. 🍪

When the long-awaited Friday finally arrived, and I got my hands on those GF doughnuts, it was pure bliss. Each heavenly bite left me yearning for more. I bought two and devoured one while patiently waiting for my co-workers' dozen, which I had pre-ordered after they tasted the one I brought in earlier that morning. I couldn't resist - I had to order another GF doughnut before leaving. The taste and texture of those gluten-free beauties were beyond amazing - a perfect 10 in every aspect. 🌟

Oh, and let's not forget about their Lavender Chia latte with oat milk. It was simply divine! The perfect companion to those scrumptious doughnuts. 😋

Doughfee hits on all cylinders, my friends. If you're a gluten-free foodie like me, I highly recommend this spot. And even if gluten-free isn't a requirement for you, I'm totally jealous of the wide array of options available. But hey, I'm not mad at all because their gluten-free selection is all that and more! 🙌

Just a word of caution - make sure to get there early because I have a feeling they sell out fast. Trust me, this place is an absolute gem. I can't recommend it enough, especially for my fellow GFFs (Gluten-Free Foodies) who are looking to satisfy their sweet tooth without the pain of gluten. Doughfee is a dream...

Heard of this new donut/coffee shop opening in town, and had to come out for Grand Opening! The line wrapped around the plaza, and it was great to see everyone showing support for a local/small business. The owners had different sample sized donuts, egg rolls, mimosas, and lemonade constantly being passed out to us in line, which showed appreciation for all the people in line to there to support them. The interior is spacious and the kids area is a plus for moms like myself! We ended up getting a half dozen as well as a few drinks! The donuts did not disappoint! The crème brûlée, ube filled, coconut and the coffee flavored glazed were delicious! Tai was happy to throw out suggestions for the drinks when I couldn’t make up my mind. The iced lavender chai was awesome! Thanks, Tai! Will have the Dulce de Leche latte next visit! My family will definitely be back!

Also, to address someone’s review below in regards to these owners “having a ton to learn in how to run a business” and them “not being experienced in running a store front”. This person also claiming to “know these challenges” as she herself is a “business owner”. It’s okay to not like their product. But did you consider that maybe instead of your downright complaints, you could have offered constructive criticism instead? You claim to be a business owner that is familiar with said challenges, and yet you show zero willingness to offer sound advice to fellow business owners who, by the way, literally just opened.

We all have a lot to learn, especially when taking on something new. In addition, the available donuts were all clearly displayed behind glass. When I ordered, I told them exactly which donuts I wanted in my box. So if they stuck 6 of the same flavor in your box, why didn’t you say something? Especially if you saw that they had more flavors than that? “Maybe you came on a bad day?” What an asinine statement. It was Grand Opening day. Of course it’s going to be busy! Any experienced business owner would know that. Were you expecting smooth sailing, and for them to have perfected their craft, the very first day they open? Makes me wonder what type of business you run exactly. That way I know to stay far away from it.

Keep at it, Doughfee! Thanks for bringing Jacksonville another donut/coffee shop for us to enjoy! We...
