My local, closest available (state-owned) liquor & spirits store. At this point, I know & am recognized by every single one of the staff members who works here, even the (non-regular) swing/float employees who work at multiple locations. They're always friendly, helpful & efficient. On a side note: (even with me being a well-known regular, I still bring mine, but) make sure you ALWAYS bring your ID card with you, especially if you're under 45, but most of all, ESPECIALLY IF YOU'RE NOT already LOCAL/NC DMV ID-issued (for any/all of y'all Marines, Sailors and/or a dependant thereof), just so you guys are aware ahead of time, they technically aren't even supposed to accept ANY OUT-OF-STATE ID CARDS, they MAY OR MAY NOT HONOR YOUR FEDERAL/DoD/CAC [ID] CARDS. The one non-NC ID that might be the exception, is if you at least have a passport (not sure about any other (non-NC DMV-issued) states' form(s) of REAL ID. Read moreVery snooty staff. Acting like people who walk in a liquor store don't know what hard liquor is. I'm am aware you sell hard liquor as it is all over the shelf's. But I have been to liquor stores that also sell hard liquor that cost upwards of more then $1000 and beer. I went in hopeing that since they sold liquor they may have had a nice amber that I would use for my chili. But of course not as they only sell "hard Liquor" because they are in North Carolina..... I am from here I am aware that some of the stores are lacking. But have all normal liquor. Rude attitudes. Read moreScheduled to close at 2100. Came in at 2057 to pick up one item and be in and out. Was told immediately after I walked in that I had to leave. I'm like?? It's 8:57 on my phone as well as yours. Another lady barked at me from the register and said "We'll call the cops on you if you don't leave!" What?! How about a "I'm sorry but we're closed." I'm brown. All five employees were.. you guessed it. But maybe it's just a coincidence. Definitely beyond horrible customer service.
