Fresh From the Garden — Restaurant in Jacksonville

With this being my first time on May 5, 2025 at 10:45 am, the minute I walked in the door, the person behind the counter greeted me with a friendly "Welcome". From that time onward, my first time experience was awesome. (I will be back.) After reviewing the menu board above the register, I ordered the vegetarian omelet which was tasty! The lady at the register made a fresh pot of coffee because the coffee canister was empty. The seating area is very clean(!) and orderly. Everyone behind the counter smiles, emanating positivity. I really enjoyed having breakfast here and I think you will too. They also offer lunch which I plan to be back. :) Thank You! -- As a observation to another review: there is a 1-star review referencing cross-contamination. If the person making the purchase were really concerned about nut allergies, they would not have purchased a peaNUT butter cookie. This cookie possibly has peanuts in its ingredients which looks like it did because of the reaction from the person who ate it. I wish the reviewer would take responsibility for their own action and not falsely accuse the business. I hope readers can see through...

Food was excellent. Giving a 1 star because they neglected allergen precautions. I asked the girl at the front if there were any cookies without nuts or tree nuts because the person I was buying for had an allergy. I asked if the cookies were cross contaminated because they’re in the same bin but in different sections above and below eachother. The girl proceeds to say “if the cookies were cross contaminated, would they be out?” There was a peanut butter cookie in the middle of the three sections of cookies. I paid anyway and when the guy was packing the cookies he uses a single pair of tongs that were used for all the cookies including the peanut butter one. Obviously they don’t care about being allergen friendly because they’re careless in not using different serving utensils. My friend who ate her cookie ended up going into anaphylactic shock and had to use her EpiPen and Benadryl. So annoyed about the carelessness of the employees and snark remark...

I can see why everyone mentioned the staff. Everyone else that walked in while I was there was greeted by name. Only being my first time visiting they get a pass for not knowing mine, lol.

It's an unassuming hole in the wall with immaculate vibes, oddly located in the middle of an office park. I almost wish I had a job in the buildings surrounding it so I could come here all the time!

The breakfast that I got wasn't necessarily anything to write home about, I'd categorize it as elevated cafeteria food, but especially for the incredibly low prices it's amazing. Although i will say my bagel was perfect, lightly grilled so it was still soft and warm but had a nice toasty exterior
