Stopped by Sandwich House for lunch today, and I’m really glad I did. I noticed this spot a few days ago when I took a different route home and decided to finally check it out. It’s a cool little place that opens early for breakfast and stays open through lunch until 3:00 PM. You can order breakfast all day if you want, which is a huge plus. The staff was very friendly, and the prices are super reasonable. I went with the #6 combo: steak and cheese in a sack, which is basically steak, cheese, peppers, and onions stuffed into a pita. Really clever idea, sometimes pitas fall apart with heavy fillings, but this one held up perfectly even though it was loaded with steak. They used banana peppers instead of the usual green bell peppers, which gave it a nice twist and was very tasty. The combo came with fries and a drink. The fries were excellent, crispy on the outside, soft and fluffy inside. Just how fries should be. I definitely want to come back and try them for breakfast one morning on my way to work. They open early, so it fits perfectly with my schedule. Looking forward to it!

I like this little place, it's small but packed with a lot of varieties. I visited here twice and each time was a good experience. The 1st time I ordered food to go, the 2nd time I sat in to embrace the ambiance of the restaurant. The employees move with efficiency and as a team. The food is tasty and you get your monies worth. Your food is made fresh, cooked to order, the pancakes are from scratch, which I love, (you can taste the difference), and they gave so many options for dessert. We had a steak & cheese sack w/ fries, bacon egg & cheese bowl w/ grits, pancakes, and their cherry lemonade drink. The sacks are so good and filling! This is mostly a breaksfast/lunch spot with good prices. It's off Beach Blvd going towards the Harts Expressway across from a car wash and near Austin's Karaoke. Definitely would recommend this place, good food, prices, and everyone is so nice there.

Some people know . Some people dont. Those that do know about this early morning breakfast spot. Know how good the food can be me personally. I have been coming here since I was a boy back then to get the "Cheeseburger /w fries no lettuce". To my teenage years of the "Camal Ryder". To now in my mid 30's mainly getting a Breakfast bowl or better known as the "The Ricky w/ bacon" Did I mention I've always ordered the "Jumbo Cherry Limeade". The inside is dated and tight. It could use some eye pleasing renovations but the inside is clean. Still this is a call in your order. Get your food to go type of establishment. But the charm of the staff especially the owner. Who works everyday. Grabs you in and makes The Sandwich a great local eats....

I have been eating here maybe 2 to 3 times per month for over 5 years now. I have had only a couple issues with my food in the past. This morning was the worst experience I have had yet. I called in an order for a ham, egg & cheese in sac with extra everything including extra mayo. I also ordered a breakfast plate with cheese grits, eggs scrambled lightly with extra egg and add cheese, and turkey bacon extra crispy. I called it in at 9:16am while I was in route to restaurant and was told it would be 15 minutes for pick up. I arrived at 9:28am. I picked up breakfast and then went to the car to eat. My husband's sac/pita bread was stale. My toast was cold and stale, Bacon was crispy like I like it, but cold. My grits were lumpy and cold. My eggs were cooked to perfection, but cold as well. I am not sure what is going on, but this needs to be addressed and improved. I did not pay my hard earned money for hot food to get cold...
