I really like this place. Prices are reasonable. Staff is very accommodating. Lexi was particularly fun and helpful. The good: Price. Food quality is decent. The tacos are okay. They have sour cream available etc. It's not traditional but they're better than taco bell. The pizza isn't bad either. Came out a little burnt on the edges and soggy in the center but not terrible. They are very generous with the toppings also. They also have something called John's sauce I'm about to try right now... oh... The bad: John's sauce. Why? WHY?! Who goes out of their way to make that to put on pizza? How dare you? The pizza toppings aren't the highest quality, but they are okay. The food is decent but they aren't in danger of getting a Michelin Star any time soon. Manage your expectations, but the price is more than appropriate for the quality of the food, and it won't break the bank. The ugly: the sound. When I say they would probably get an OSHA violation if they did a study here, I'm not joking. I don't like putting things in this section, but this one cannot be ignored. For the sake of the employees working here everyday, the owner needs to do something more than a couple small sound absorbing panels poorly placed in the room. Some hack screwed plywood to the ceiling instead of using drywall and thought the exposed brick would look nice. You're eating in a sound chamber. I bet karaoke would sound great with the acoustics, but besides live music, this is a lawsuit waiting to happen once the wait staff goes deff. I recommend this place, but you may want to sit outside if the place is full. Save what hearing...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreInitial reaction: We came in 15 minutes before the kitchen closed and waited over 5 minutes to get a menu. A large party also came in right before us. When our waitress came to us (she did not have the large table) she told us the kitchen closed in 5 minutes and gave us the menu. We had to rush to make choices quickly because of it although the large table was still ordering after us (after closing time).
Food: Definitely would not order the grilled poppers, they were the saddest little appetizer Iāve ever seen in a restaurant. The fried cheese curds were good, nice bite sizes that were hot. I ordered the chicken fried chicken special and substituted a salad for the green beans (they had pork in them). The mashed potatoes were cold, only thr gravy on top had any heat (but no flavor). The chicken was hot and nicely breaded but again, the gravy on top had zero flavor. The side salad with ranch was crisp. Also ordered a Philly cheesesteak and the cheese slices thrown on top were not melted at all which let us know the sandwich overall was cold. The curly fries were rushed and not cooked all the way.
The server was attentive and checked on us twice. We didnāt ask for any remakes due to the time and to respect the kitchen staff however this will likely not be on our list in the...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI looked at my meal and the horrible effort in preparation and chose not to eat it actually believing i would get ill if i did. Order also missing $12 of the $32 order. Mushrooms and soup. Stood 7 min in original location at the bar watching 5 employees do everything not to make eye contact or smile. Moved to end of bar where staff enter, stood 2 min while 2 female bar employees had to step around me 2x ea an 2 kitchen employees also went by. The female bartender finally looked at me minute ten and says, do you need something? I stated, i have an online order and is your manager here. Answer, no. And she walked off. 90 more seconxs pass and i stopped the second female serving employee anx asked for my order. She looked in the comp. Walked to the kitchen and immediately returned with the tied bag, sat it down and simply stated. Sign the top one. In my over 30 years of full time, second or third job of service industry, i have not ever seen service this bad. Again, i was unable to eat the horrible...
