Hungry Howie's Pizza & Subs — Restaurant in Jacksonville

Ordered delivery it said it would take 60 mins to get my food. It took that long but let's get to the food part my bread is the smallest I ever got from a hungry Howie's that comes with the wings and bread sticks yeah the wings are huge but they didnt even give me mg ranch dipping sauce and staying in a hotel I dont have it nor a car af the moment to just go to the store to buy a big bottle that I didnt need that much. The bread looks gross and dont even smell that well like they normally do. The pizza is good. But I had to walk all the way up to the front of the office bc they dont deliver to the rooms at the location I am staying which I wish they would have informed me this during the hour it took to make and deliver my food. I wasnt prepared so I had to also change into normal clothes out of pjs to go meet them. I still gave my tip on top of it all and now I am alittle upset to get to my room to see the bread and know I now have wings with no sauce just plain wings. I wont be ordering from here again only bc of my order not completely correct when u charge for the sauce 59 cent and didnt even give it to me. And the fact my bread looks gross like u didnt even care to cook it right shows how poor this customer...

Sunday night 7/5/20 at 6:03 we placed an order. Delivery time was 1 hr. We waited 1.5hr and then the pizza tracker said it had been delivered. We checked all doors then called to check on the status, hungry Howies manager said it was on its way and the delivered button was pushed by mistake. We waited another half and hour and no pizza. Called back and again the manager said they just left with our order. Waited another 45 mins and called and the manager said she called the delivery driver but the cell number wasn’t working and asked me to call them back in 5 mins. I called back and she said there was new driver coming in and she would remake my pizza and send it with them and asked me to wait 30 mins or so. End result we waited a total of 3 hours and called back one more time to check the status and was told it was on its way again however we never received any pizza. After 3.5 hours our guests had left and there was never any pizza. This was our first and last time trying to order from Hungry Howies. I understand that there can be delays and issues but it was never corrected. Both pizza one and The remade pizza two never showed up and we never canceled the order we just gave up on...

I’ve purchasing food (pizzas) from this location for over 20+ years.

A few months ago I place an online order to be scheduled for delivery. The delivery was a few months ago, the order was a pre made scheduled delivery. The delivery was 1:45 minutes late..Hungry Howie tracker was misleading. I finally got tired of waiting and called to only be told “we’re busy”!

The pizza was finally deliver and the driver tipped, because it was clear...a pizza being an hour and forty minutes later was not her fault alone..so I tipped her.

However the following day I made a complaint with Hungry Howies Corp. office..with no response..

Two weeks ago, we placed another online ordered, and of course paid for it. A hour went by and no delivery.. Called the store to find how where our pizza is at..to only be advised “we don’t deliver to you” anymore...

This what happens when you make a formal complaint for bad service...you get canceled.

This action is far beyond the pale, ugly, dishonest and corrupt franchise who dose not deserve a license or a franchise.
