Papa John’s has alway been my go to for pizza as my daughter doesn’t consume meat and loves the garden pizza offering. I recently moved to Jacksonville and I have to say, we REALLY tried giving this location a shot! Like several to be honest. Even when trying to address problems with my order, I do my part to remain calm and friendly because after all, I’m relying on strangers to prepare food for my family and hey, life happens, thus mistakes happen right? Well I should have learned my lesson after spending over $30 for pizza that not only showed up late but cold. I shared my experience by filling out the survey you get after placing an order. The responses was, we apologize and give us a chance to do better with a coupon code. At my daughter’s urging, I used the coupon and ordered two more pizzas. The pizza came so quick I was actually surprised 😲 and even more pleasantly surprised to have received another coupon in the mail, enticing my daughter to have me place an order for yes, more pizza. This time, not only was the pizza late and cold…it wasn’t even our order 🤦🏽♀️ So if your name is Carolyn, I’m sorry dear, your order arrived at my house. I called the store, informed them of the mishap and they offered to remake the order and send it out but I said no biggie just please credit my payment method. Easy enough right? NO!! I received a store credit, which meant I have to, you guessed it, order more pizza. My daughter wanted pizza today so I said cool, I’ll call the store and use my credit. My call was disconnected 6 times and 1 time someone answered and said I was calling the wrong number. On my 8th Attempt, I finally reached a manager, who provided assistance. Feeling optimistic I notified my daughter that pizza was ordered and on its way. The driver notified me that he got turned around, cool, like I said, life happens. Once he let me know that he was outside, I told him that I would be right out. Cash in hand for his tip, I exit from the garage to see the driver back in his car…He had chucked the boxes at my front door because the dogs were barking. He offered to pick the boxes back up while I was offering his tip but I’m like seriously 😐 did that really just happen? Read moreFirst this place closed 30 minutes early when I tried ordering last time so I took my business and money elsewhere, and now they just pretended to give me the receipt several minutes after making me wait, giving off like my order was ready fast when it really wasn't so I tipped and I greatly regret it cause they literally kept me waiting here for more than 10 minutes following that when they don’t even have any other customers. It takes 7 min to actually heat up a premade pizza, this is ridiculous. I was only even tipping to say thank you cause they made it out like they went of their way to make sure I got it shortly after I got there but if I’m spending my time and gas picking it up and then they keep me waiting for a while on top of that after it’s supposed to be ready they definitely didn’t deserve a tip. I regret tipping, never am here again and can’t wait to move away so I can move closer to a papa John’s that actual closes on time and gives the order...

I stayed on the first call over 15 mins. I hung up and called back twice. I finally reached a young male manager,Mr. Xavier. I informed him of the problem. I was told that I can get a credit or return to pick up another order during that day or another day. He said, He will make sure the information is listed under my phone number in the system. It will be another manager working on tomorrow if I decided to use my credit. I called to use my credit the following day.
