My rating reflects my overall experience and impression. My experience on this visit was issue laden though not so much related to the food quality (that's 1 of the positives). Now to dive into the issues: 1) Though I called ahead 30 minutes before arrival, I still had to not only wait in line at the drive-thru but also my food was not prepared or ready upon arrival. 2) "Platter" has different meanings here. Seafood platters at least come with fries but family platters (which I ordered, don't). My expectation and experiences at many other restaurants is that platters include more than 1 entree'. 3) They slip in an additional charge listed as 6 "EXTRA DIP" for any and all family platters despite the type of fish. This is deceptive at best, borders on being unethical, and certainly is a poor business practice because this means all of the listed prices for family platters are incorrect as they are higher than the listed price. My 10 piece fish platter is listed as $22.99 but charged another $3.00 for 6 extra dips. I asked the cashier who's explanation made no sense. A certain amount of condiments are standard with any meal but to charge extra for something not received is purely wrong. 4) I did not receive ranch dressing as requested.

Now to the positives: 1) Overall is service was ok. The staff that took my call was friendly and answered my questions. I also noticed the team work at the store. 2) The food was hot, fresh, and tasted fine. 3) The portions were ok but not the value as listed due to the extra charge. 4) They have and gave a $3.00 vets discount.

Had it not been for the wait time despite calling in, the deceptive additional charge, and non-receipt of the requested condiment then this would have been a positive review of at least 4 stars. I started to get Captain D's family meal and would have been happier along with nearly $10 less spent. I may try Mr. Snappers again but will adjust, question, and order with this...

This place used to be good. The food has been going downhill for a while. We have been regular customers and always bragged on this place. Lately the fish has been overcooked and portion sizes getting smaller. They are too pricey to be reducing the portions. They also put this white seasoning on everything. It's way too much. Even if you ask to leave it off it's on everything.

We place a large order the other night to pickup on our way through bc we don't live close and they leave out one of the meals and give us zero condiments despite asking and reminding them. It's too late by the time we get home. Now we have a meal short and no cocktail sauce etc. We call and Fabio is excellent and says come by tomorrow and we will remake your entire order. We ask if he means the entire order or just the meal. He says the entire order for our trouble. That's the way customer service should be. Unfortunately, my wife calls ahead the next night and says we will be there in 20 minutes and we are planning on this meal for the family. My wife gets there to pick it up and owner is there and hasn't started cooking it. So she waits and the owner brings her the one meal from previous day and says that's all he is doing. She says Fabio promised the entire order. He says well Fabio isn't the one losing money. So now for the 2nd night in a row we are scrambling to get food for dinner for the family.

This is the last straw with this place. The food quality down and now the service too. Oh well, too many other places to choose...
