Edit: it's been years since that first review and it needs to be changed. It's not great, it's changed a lot in the last year. Breakfast Menu has downsized so much, half of what was available isn't anymore. And the meal I used to get was 7.98 now it's 11 and some change (I didn't order it because of the price.) I got the BLT. $5.99 bacon was over cooked I had a wedge of tomato and the center pieces of the lettuce leaves. Not to mention there was a drop of mayo on only one side of the bread. The coleslaw was sour( meaning it had gone bad, not just vinger) the hash browns were still good and buttery. The hot dog with french fries my daughter got was good. However the hotdog bun was a poppyseed bun. Which should be stated for at least the childs menu. Hers was only about $5.00 so hers was the only thing worth it. She also got a pancake, just one and it was just shy of $4.00. my husband was so disappointed in his biscuits and gravy, the mansizer or whatever it's called, didn't have enough for the price. Just 2 eggs and biscuits and gravy for just over $11.00. He said his gravy was overly floury. Not worth the price of the food anymore. Way to expensive for simple meals. Coffee is still the best in town though. Old review -I love coming here for breakfast great people and great service and the food is...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWhile traveling on the road we were nearby this town and wanted to grab a lunch. After about three misses with other places that were either closed or no longer open we ended up here and let me say what a nice accident. Rudiās Grill is not very assuming out the outside but it makes up for it when you walk inside. It feels like a mom and pop kind of eatery. I love the open space and the smells from the kitchen were old school comfort food. The servers were so sweet and they came over to our table immediately. They offered up drinks and they have diet Mountain Dew here and what a nice treat. I had the meatloaf and my companion had the chicken fried steak. Wow. Everything was delicious! I loved it all. Simple food but that extra comfort...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe restaurant was packed when we arrived there at 12:15 p.m., however, there were still plenty of places to sit since this place has lots of room. I had coconut shrimp and was very pleased with it. They gave me six jumbo shrimp lightly breaded. It did not taste greasy at all and was quite tender. On a scale of 1-5, I'd give this dish a 5 star. Along with the shrimp, I had my choice to two sides. I ordered sweet potato fries, but they were a bit overcooked however, were edible. I also had applesauce. I had coffee with cream and sugar. The coffee was very good. The waitress kept my cup filled and there was plenty of cream and sweetener at the table. An old friend sat down with us. We talked for almost two hours and...
