Update: 7-27-25 EPIC FAIL TODAY. First thing, they Opened late due to a kitchen issue .Stood in line outside in over 95° weather, over an hr. After getting inside staff notified everyone inside meatloaf was still cooking and cabbage was gone. How Sway? I was in the first group of ppl waiting in the blazing heat, everything should have been available😡🤬. Got home to eat, meatloaf not cooked well, properly. Only gave one cornbread out of 3 meals, gave rolls. Should have been told cornbread ran out also. An hr and 45 min in straight HEAT, NEVER AGAIN. I think dude is good overall but today was not it!!! No complimentary waters or drinks, no fans, questionable AC. Just heat, long waiting, subpar food. VERY PRICEY ESPECIALLY FOR FOOD TO-GO. Cost just as much if not more than a sit down restaurant. Saw questionable activity from a kid being let in the kitchen to "work." Kid probably was family or friend but I didn't like it. Streeter can run his place any way he wants, its his. It didn't look right to me as a business around food and made me very uncomfortable! I believe in dude but I spent my Sunday afternoon disappointed before my 12 hr night shift!!!
Update: 5-25-25 Drove over arrived about 3:30 pm, they didn't answer the phone previously. Wasted gas & time!!! Streeter was leaving with his own to-go plates said they sold out. NEED THAT CORRECTED. IF YOURE GOING TO BE CLOSED/OPEN OR SOLD OUT AT LEAST POST IT ON THE DAMN SOCIAL MEDIA PAGES!!!!
Initial review: Wings best in city. Mac n cheese high quality. Only had one wing thought was too big. Keep those not too big...

The egg rolls were an unexpected highlight. They were crispy, fresh, and packed with flavor. The lamb chops were absolutely mouthwatering. They were tender, perfectly seasoned, and cooked just right. The mac and cheese lived up to the hype, too. It was creamy, cheesy, and exactly what you hope for in a soul food staple. The lemonade was sweet and refreshing, balancing the richness of the dishes nicely.
While the lemon pepper chicken wings were just okay compared to the other standout dishes, they didn’t take away from the overall experience. What really impressed me was the off-menu stuffed chicken breast that was juicy, flavorful, and clearly made to order.
Service was warm and welcoming, adding to the laid-back vibe. It’s a bit on the pricey side, but for a treat-yourself meal, it’s worth every dollar. Whether you're grabbing a plate to go or snagging one of the few seats inside, you'll leave full...
Read moreI went here last week and ordered the ribs, seafood rice, sweet and tangy chicken, and corn. My husband got the ribs, sweet and tangy chicken, potato salad, mac and cheese, baked beans, and banana pudding on the side.
Unfortunately, the experience was pretty hit or miss. The macaroni was soupy, like it was rushed and undercooked. The ribs were very mid — not much flavor at all. The sweet and tangy chicken was the highlight and tasted good. They also forgot the potato salad in our order, which was disappointing. The baked beans were horrendous — we couldn’t even eat them. The banana pudding tasted like a store-bought mix with just one cookie tossed in, no real effort.
On top of the food issues, the place was extremely hot inside — no AC, which made it uncomfortable to wait. There’s also no clear direction on where or how to order; the cashiers don’t call you up or say “next,” they just kind of stare at you, leaving you to guess what to do. They have a paper listing the meals and choices, but there’s not much guidance on how to place your order.
Overall, definitely overrated for the price and experience. They really need...
