The absolute WORST service you can ever imagine at a Popeyes. This one on Atlantic is ridiculous! Came to the drive thru tonight at 930 pm and the person on the intercom put us on hold. Her microphone kept coming on and you could hear all the laughing and playing the team members were doing. A few of them kept coming in and out of the store while we were still waiting for her to acknowledge us. You could hear her yelling back and forth to another customer about thier order and her saying "she doesn't care about your food or if it's hot or not" then you could hear another team member telling them to cut the microphone off because the ppl un the drive thru could hear her talking and she states that "she doesn't care". After hearing this, we responded asking her if she was ready to take our order and she says "nah, give me a second" and laughs then continues to talk rudely about the previous person's order. After being in line for 15 mins, another team member answers then puts us on hold for an additional 5 mins. When someone finally takes our order and we get to the window, you could see all the team members standing around and playing. One was on his cell phone talking to someone and only one person was working. They got our order wrong and gave us old food just reheated. Chicken tatsed like it's been sitting there and that they just redropped it in grease and gave it to us smh. A wasted $29 and a waste of time. Horrible service and they need to review these team members for customer service etiquette, courtesy, not giving old food out, and paying attention. Read moreI rarely patronize this brand (health related) but today...I wanted Popeye's. This location was on my ride home. The drive thru was empty. The staffer then says "were in the middle of shift turnover. Please come into the store to order. Okay...if I gotta, I gotta. Their parking lot, no, their pothole lot has been needing to be repaved a loooooonnnnnnnggggggg...... SEVERAL YEARS! The lobby is small. Very little room when 5 customers wait to order. There were several employees on site, that I could see. As I stood in line to order, I hear one of the crew say it was going to be 12 minutes before chicken is up. Another crew members stated "you said 10 min a moment ago" A teaching moment came next, " when the times are off it messes everything up and we're (counter ppl) get cussed out.
It's my turn at the window. A very polite young lady took my order and informed me "it would be about 8 minutes before chicken is up" That's fine. That means the chicken will be freshly fried and hot....YES! Although she was very nice...I couldn't help but notice her rather mature afro. Calm down...calm down..I'm not that person you're about to pounce on. My only issue with that fell into hygiene....she was not wearing a hair net.
This store seemed to be challenged with cleaning throughout the day. The place was very much out of sorts.
Who ever owns this frachise, please invest to the locals who keep this branch operating for over 20+ years. And please allow them to hire more staffers. Shift turnover shouldn't be this hectic.

Read moreThis is the most horrible customer service experience I have ever had at a fast food place. The employees are rude! They rushed me every time I named a item I wanted it the drive tru that rude lady kept saying "IS THAT ALL? IS THAT IT?" Got to the window to pay for my $40.25 order and was rushed as I asked for sauce! The guy working the drive Tru lied and said he put the sauce in my bag I pulled up only to find out I was missing gravy and other items. I sent my friend in to get the missing items and they were refusing to give us the missing items. They basically pushed my friend out the front door locked it and told us to go back through the drive Tru for our missing items. We was on our lunch break and I did not want to go back because I had a thought they would spit in my food because of their nasty attitudes. I called corporate and complained. I told them I will never go back there. I ended up with enough points for a bunch of free food because of the nasty actions of the employees. 3 missing things caused the company to have to give out a bunch of free things to make up for the nasty staff at this location.
