Golden Egg Roll — Restaurant in Jacksonville

I WOULD give 0 stars if I could! Been coming here for years and never had any problems until today! I ordered 3 kids shrimp egg foo young meals, and was told that they put 7 shrimp in a patty. So one of my patty’s was shorted 2 shrimp and I notified one of the workers. So she started digging through the patty counting the shrimp and came up with 5 as well, then took the food to the back and told the cook in the back! So then she comes back with the food and tells me if this happens again YOU CAN GO SOMEWHERE ELSE AND EAT!!😐 I was in disbelief, all because your cook in the back miscounted the shrimp in the patty I’m in the wrong???!!!🤦🏽‍♀️ So I said okay no problem I will take my business elsewhere where I’m appreciated and not blamed for a mistake your employee made 😡! Folks check out your foo young patty’s etc..because they will short you and blame you for there messup!!! I WILL NEVER EAT HERE AGAIN!! People work to hard for there money just to be cheated and...

I am only giving it a 5 Star rating for the food.....the place itself is not so inviting to sit down in....and outside is a bit worn....but portion size is excellent. We have visited multiple times and we love the beef lo mein and the Teriyaki chicken on a stick. The Teriyaki chicken came with enough fried rice that all 4 of us were able to have some. The beef lo mein was also good for 4 persons. Because they cook to order...the drive through can be a bit of a wait. We always order in advance...and when we arrive if there is a line in the drive through then we park and walk in. So...all in all we like the food and staff are always nice....just not really a sit in dine in type of place....but it is available if you wanted to. We will be back....especially since it is only 5 minutes...

I recently visited the wonderful city of Jacksonville from Philadelphia what wasn’t so wonderful was my experience at golden egg roll on Atlantic Boulevard. I called to place an order the lady rushed me off of the phone she was very rude when I got there to pick up my order, my order wasn’t complete I kindly said my order is wrong something was missing the lady rudely says I didn’t hear that and then charged me an extra 4.25 for a small order of fries that were horrible total waste of money I should’ve went to the captain flounder place next door for 22.26 i could’ve gotten more from what I was told next time I’m in the area I will go there instead so for all of my out of town travelers I think the chicken/ fish place next would be a...
