Subway — Restaurant in Jacksonville

Subway.com allowed us to place our order at this location after they were closed for the night. We were emailed confirmation that we were able to pickup. My wife went in the gas station (restaurant inside) to find all of the Subway counter and overhead lights out. The young man behind the counter explained that he had not recieved our order as he was closed before it was placed and he had closing wrapped up very quickly after being in for 16 hours today. This was explained as he was turning on counter lights and removing stored food to begin making our order. He made all three of our sandwiches beautifully with care and accuracy after having been the only soul on deck today AFTER CLOSING AND BEING READY TO WALK OUT. Dear sir, you have renewed our faith in customer service. You are a credit to Subway's good name and a 10/10 in your desire to create smiling faces. Subway, give this...

Why do they hire people that don't listen? Why hire people that are annoyed that they have to do their job? Tonight I had some pretty terrible service and my sandwich was not made right because SHE WOULD NOT LISTEN. I said three times what cheese I wanted on what sandwiche, yet somehow shes so busy screaming to the circle K cashier that she did it wrong. I didn't even have the energy to correct her a FOURTH time. The sandwiches are made poorly and her attitude was awful. She is annoyed she has to work, annoyed she can't do her job right and annoyed that I as her customer needed her attention. You make sandwiches..... its not hard to make a sandwich if you just listen to your customer. I am disgusted with this location and if subway had any pride they would fire their entire staff and start over....

Had one of the best mobile deliveries through them. Had a late night and no time to cook/order out. Luckily this was one of the few restaurants that delivered, even for 24/7. The app was limited on customization, but knowing it was subway, I tried my luck to make those few changes. Like making the bread Parmesan rosemary and adding mustard...simple things the app didn’t offer but that the staff were willing to do. Especially for being after normal hours and via through app/phone and not face to face. The staff was very polite and prompt and no aggravation dealing with a late night request like that. Fresh and chewy cookies and sandwiches that were made spot on, from the order I placed that was half food app, half phone alterations. Perfect experience with a perfect outcome. Keep up...
