I recently visited the smoke shop adjacent to this barbershop and encountered one of the barbers soliciting customers outside. Despite having my own trusted barber, I decided to give him a chance due to time constraints. I specifically inquired if he had experience cutting waves, to which he confidently affirmed. I requested a specific haircut - a 2 all over, pointed sides, and faded back - and reiterated my need for a barber familiar with cutting waves. However, once the haircut commenced, I noticed he was cutting against the grain, contrary to what is required for maintaining deep waves. When I brought this to his attention, he dismissed my concern, insisting he knew best. Unfortunately, the result was a botched haircut, devoid of the waves I had painstakingly cultivated over two years. Moreover, the sides were not properly pointed and faded, and the back lacked a satisfactory fade. This experience was undoubtedly the worst I've encountered at a barbershop. I cannot in good conscience recommend this establishment to anyone. Jacksonville boasts several reputable barbershops, but this one falls short. The half-hearted apology offered by the shop's owner only further underscores the lack of professionalism exhibited. I have been going to Line Up Get Faded barbershop for quite some time now, and I must say that Chuck is hands down one of the best barbers I have ever had the pleasure of working with. Not only is he highly skilled in his craft, but he is also extremely friendly and interactive, making every visit to the shop an enjoyable experience.

What sets Chuck apart from other barbers I've had in the past is his exceptional attention to detail and willingness to listen to his clients. He always takes the time to understand exactly what I want, and he delivers every time without fail. Whether it's a basic fade or a more complex cut from some length, Chuck knows what he's doing and he executes it flawlessly.

But what I appreciate most about Chuck is his friendly and welcoming demeanor. He goes out of his way to make sure that every customer feels comfortable and satisfied with their experience at Line Up Get Faded. And as someone who has never had a bad haircut from Chuck, I can confidently say that he is a master of his craft.

Since then, Mr. Chuck has opened his own shop with all the amenities a customer could ask for. For, example, the shop is cleaned on a daily basis, the chair is sanitized after each customer, the latest in equipment for cutting/styling hair, hair care products (not for sale), and soft music. On the other hand, it’s a place for conversation and learning. A place for old and young men to gain knowledge in different categories for everyday growth.
