I won't be going back. I came in with my son. We were early by a few minutes. The door was locked. A guy with curly hair came mmout and said 11:30 we will open. So we sat down and waited outside. It was about 11:15. So we just sat outside. While we were waiting a couple walked inside the building. It was 11:20 at the time. I thought maybe they worked there since the guy didn't send them out. We were right outside the window and I couldn't see them, just our reflection. At 11:24 the guy walks to the door. It looked like he was unlocking it. He walked back away then came back to the door at 11:26 to tell us we can come in and order. When we walked into the restaurant the couple was at a table and was being served. Had plates, drinks, chips and everything. All this while my child and I sat outside in the sun waiting for it to open. They let them in no problem. I walked up to the counter and thought about how often we patronize this establishment, the generous tips we leave, how kind we are even when we are saddled with the really rude server lady that my entire family prays isn't working when we go in, and decided we deserve better. He knew we were out there when they sat down, ordered their drinks, food, and were brought their chips. He knew, but there we sat. Good service is not hard to find. Loyal customers are and Taco Libre just lost 7, my entire family and the four co workers I Postmates lunch for when it's my turn to choose the meal. I won't...
Read moreWe were looking for a good, cheap, Mexican restaurant in the area and all the reviews pointed to a dinner at Taco Libre. We're here to say "DANG" they where spot on!
The place was hopping when we arrived at 6:30p this Thursday evening. But, the early dinner crowd was just getting finished and we were seated quickly.
We were greeted warmly and served promptly. It's certainly true that they have a wonderfully diverse menu and plenty of 2:1 drink specials. We took advantage of this and tasty wine margaritas arrive in large water glasses and were very tasty.
We collectively ordered 5 tacos: fish, tongue, pastor, fresco, and shroom plus a side of beans and rice. It was heaven👍👍. Beans and rice were standard fare, but each taco came with a shell and condiments that completed the meat.
All in all a 5 star dinner for a "quick, cheap, and great Mexican" dinner.

Read moreOrdered a large order earlier tonight, it was pouring outside earlier so the ground was wet and I dropped my order. I didn't ask for it to be replaced immediately, however I asked for extra cheese sauce because it exploded inside of my bag. I was told I was going to be charged for it by Laura. I could have asked for my entire order to be replaced which she denied later. And said she was the manager. I really can't understand how a place could run with a manager like this. My wife is pregnant, and we were left with no options to eat tonight after we left. I tried to reason with Laura but she refused to work with me. When my pregnant wife called back to speak with a manager she claimed to be one, without helping. I will say, I should not have to pay for a meal that was dropped on the ground anywhere, but the disrespect in front of other people from Laura took it to another level. I will be back to personally speak with the general manager tomorrow...
