Bravo to both Christmas and New Year’s cast!! !!! We attended Wed opening night, Saturday evening, and Sunday Matinee. Our little ankle biter, Lara Estoesta, was part of the ensemble as Liz and sang a small vocal solo. I wish we had recordings, but due to licensing, we are not allowed to do videography. I did take photography - minus flash prior to the actual performance and at the end where they are bowing. Oh, I wish I could watch it repeatedly - Or at least listen to the vocals. Mrs Jocelyn did a superb job preparing them for their big night. Their hard work on Saturdays from 1-5 paid off. It was one of the most entertaining musicals and heartwarming, gut-wrenching experiences that will pull at your heartstrings. The stage and background were excellent; light set the mood and props. The leads had many strengths. My wife and I came in not knowing what the musical was about. We researched and watched a few summaries and videos on YouTube to better understand. The second night we watched was terrific as we understood a little more. The songs are iconic from La Vie Bohme to Take Me or Leave Me and Seasons. I loved seasons, especially when both casts came together to sing. And the finale, when videos of the cast members were projected onto the backdrop, was very moving. I can see our little Lara crying as they sang the finale song. We had reservations about allowing her to perform in this musical because of the profanity, language, and sexual situations. Those things were essential to the story's meaning and the bohemian lifestyle in that area of New York.

My wife and I have grown to love the music, the story, the meaning. We didn’t know until further research that this musical won many Tony awards and the Pulitzer. It’s a look into lives that reflect our society in that period. It is a masterpiece of art. I am amazed and awed by the performances of the cast members.

We are grateful to Mrs Jocelyn for guiding Lara and the cast. It was an excellent production and Lara's first, so it will always be a memorable experience. We hope that DA will produce it on a larger scale and in a larger venue.

I currently have several soundtracks to the musicals playing repeat in my car. This production and wonderful performance launched an adoration and appreciation for RENT❤️ It is so good, folks. Haha my wife keeps singing and humming music from the musical as I write this and it’s been a week later!!!

My daughter, Alayna has been training with Jocelyn, owner and Creative Director of SET, for over 10 years. Jocelyn has been a huge part in developing Alayna as a performer. The training she received at SET Studios paved the way for Alayna landing a job as Young Nala in The Lion King on Broadway, NYC. The Productions at SET will blow you away because these kids are genuinely having fun on stage and off. The Shows are great not only because they are having fun but she pushes the kids to work hard and to reach their maximum potential as a performer. You will see the performers get better and better at each show and by the final performance they are beaming with pride. Truly a magical process to witness in each kid. The group of kids that come here become life long friends and genuinely support each other in every aspect of life. My daughter has been attending Set Studios for just about 4 months now, and we've been incredibly impressed! Jocelyn the founder and director of Set Studios creates pure magic through her productions! She exposes these kids to many opportunities and pushes them to be the best versions of themselves!

Our daughter, recently had an amazing experience participating in the Junior Theater Festival 2024 in Atlanta, and it was a truly unforgettable opportunity for her and all the kids that attended! Set Studios offers small productions, camps, individual singing and acting lessons, which have helped my daughter develop her voice and acting skills tremendously. We've seen a significant improvement in her confidence and overall performance abilities.
