Shores Fine Wine and Spirits at San Pablo — Local services in Jacksonville

Shores caught my eye as I have seen that location be a gas station among other things over my 55 years in Jacksonville. I stopped in one day on way to pick my wife up at Mayo Clinic on way to a housewarming party. I was greeted at the door where the staffer asked me what I was needing, and I explained what was needed. He expertly guides me through options and let me try samples of some till I landed on what I thought the couple would like.

I have been there approximately 20 additional times since. The owner is there and always greeting me and invites me to sample. Additionally, they have tastings sponsored by liquor companies. Not to mention that they have their own tasting station during work hours. I only recently started dabbling in hard liquor, but this amenity has been key in me finding what I like personally. Two things of notice as a retired marketing executive. The staff is friendly and always working. This is unlike the competition whose workers seem to busy to be customer service friendly. Also, the selections are bereft of dust it looks like at other places b either their inventory does not move, or the housekeeper is keeping all her profits. Not sure if that comes from a lack of cleaning for. the competition or faster moving inventory at Shores. The staff is very well versed on the items and gives cogent recommendations that I have only been happy with. Shores is my only store for spirits, and I will drive out of my way to get treated...

The first thing that you feel is a courtesy that invite you to enter and see all the variety and explore all the new brands. This is not like the normal liquor store with the normal-all the people is looking for -brand liquor store. Is a place where make you at least an amateur in mixology. The guys there 100% in attendance and warm feelings and with good knowledge about each brand from liquor to whiskey and hard liquor. By the way, thanks for the reccomendations were very trustworthy. If you go looking for something different and open to learn about mixology with a right price. this is the place. As recent as today I had a mini local competition of cocktails and I won first place and was because of the liquors that to had in your place. Thank you a lot for all the help...

Bruhhhhh they get 5 stars from me bc in all my searches of the great land of Jacksonville, Florida- I have yet to find my most fave brewski of all time. Little did I know it was at the new liquor store by Bono’s!! I went in looking for some lousy IPA that wouldn’t satisfy my needs and came out with a gift from our sister to the North!!
