I only provide a one-star because there's no way to provide a no-star and still give a review. I called in a pickup order for a chicken fajita omelette with no cheese (since I'm lactose intolerant). I was told it would be 10 to 15 minutes. I waited and then walked into the IHOP 15 minutes later and was advised the food was still being prepared. 10 minutes later the server brought out my omelette and low and behold it has cheese on it. She advises that it would take another 10 minutes to remake my omelette with no cheese and at this point I have been waiting 25 minutes for an omelet. I speak to the manager Kylen about any possible courtesy reduction on the price for the inconvenience and find out that not only is he the person that took my order, specifically making a point to assure that there would be no cheese on my omelette, but he is unwilling to adjust the price at all. This showed a complete lack of accountability on the managers part in making sure that the order was put in correctly and a complete disregard for the customer's time in waisting over 30 minutes of my time. I have been an avid IHOP shopper for years but I will never go back to that one ever again and I will never recommend the IHOP on Blanding...
Read moreIt's 2205 and the lem turner waffle House is probably the worst location I've ever been to! I come in and the employees are all horsing around behind the counter and the only person who wasn't acting a plum fool was on her phone texting or watching videos! That wasnt the worst of it! The same people who were messing around now started cursing loudly . Not some but all of them despite them seeing that I had a minor child with me! Since it was getting later I just wanted to get something to eat and go home after my daughters concert. To top it off the waitress not only didn't ask me daughter and I for our drink order but she got our complete order wrong! I tried to explain, hey this is not right I need you to fix it before it comes out. I can hear you telling the cook that put jalapenos and tomatoes on our food! She then proceeded to roll her eyes , get an attitude, and commence to start arguing and bickering with another employee again! I dont know who was the acting manager but that whole shifts needs to be replaced immediately including the manager especially if that was him cooking! Unacceptable and completely unprofessional! Read moreI had an extremely disappointing experience at WAFFLE HOUSE. From the start, our waitress seemed more interested in her phone than in her job. She never approached our table to ask if we wanted anything to drink and instead shouted across the room to ask if we were ready to order. When we placed our order, she called out the wrong items to the kitchen and insisted that was what we requested, even though we had no knowledge of those items being on the menu.
The situation worsened when she and the kitchen staff openly discussed us within earshot, accusing us of changing our order, which we did not do. I left the restaurant without touching my food or drink due to the unprofessional behavior.
Unfortunately, my boyfriend and son stayed to eat, but the waitress continued to play explicit music from her phone, completely inappropriate for a family setting, especially with my 9-year-old present. On top of that, my boyfriend never received all of his food but was still charged for the full ticket, including my meal, which I never ate. This level of service is unacceptable, and I hope the management addresses these issues immediately.
