We were so excited when we heard a Culver’s was coming to Hudsonville! But the service here is the worst I’ve experienced at any Culver’s, or any fast food restaurant, in a long time. I’ve been here 4 times and never had my concrete mixer in under 20 minutes. One time was an online order, I arrived almost 10 minutes late, and still waited exactly 14 minutes for them to bring it to my car when I arrived. There were several workers who were seen through the window, talking and hanging out in the lobby area, only 1 table of customers and 2 other cars in the drive through. And at one point one of the worker guys peeked out the window and saw my car, and I thought yay they must have my ice cream ready! But I still waited 4 minutes for my ice cream to be brought out. We’re here now, in the drive through waiting area. We are the only car here and nobody was in line in front of us. It took 3 minutes to get someone on the order speaker to take our order and he was giggling and talking to someone else the whole time taking our order. We’ve now been sitting for almost 10 minutes waiting for 1 concrete mixer to be brought out. I’m not sure what goes on in this Culver’s. I try to be patient because I know there’s a bunch of kids working here, but every experience has been a little bizarre. They are very friendly, don’t get me wrong! Read moreWe love Culvers! We have often gone to the Jenison location and were excited to see one open up here in Hudsonville; however, so far we have been disappointed. We understand that the employees are still learning, but they won't acknowledge mistakes. We often use the BOGO 2-scoop sundae coupons. We have gone twice and both times have been given smaller sundaes than the two scoops. The first time we let it go, but this last time we were given "Kiddie" cup size sundaes. We complained, so the employee went back in and then brought out single scoop sundaes. He insisted they were double scoop sundaes. Finally, we went in and spoke to a manager who acknowledged that we were correct; however, there was no apology, and all he did was hand us a true double scoop sundae and told us the other two singles would count as the other double. We never saw any attempt to teach the original employee about the sundae size, so I don't expect this situation to be corrected. We've also found that each Culver's location cooks their beef a little differently. The Jenison location is our benchmark, and this new Hudsonville location has some work to do to get to that benchmark. We found their beef over-cooked which limited the great flavor we are used to. We'll try Hudsonville again in a couple months to see if they have their act together, but until then we'll travel to the Jenison Culvers where we always know we won't be...

He apologized and said due to all of the money we had wasted, paying for food we didn't receive, he was going to send us some coupons for free food items at their store. Not surprising.....we never received any such thing. So complaining to the store, or even to their corporate website means nothing. Culvers food equals 5 stars, assuming you actually get it after you paid for it! But Culvers customer service....one star from me. 👎
The Hudsonville Culvers used to provide very good service. Recently...not so much. Our last three orders have not been correct. Missing items and a Concrete Mixer that had completely different ingredients mixed in than what I ordered. I understand that mistakes happen, and I can forgive that. However, I am being charged for items I do not receive, and calling the number listed on their site just rings several times, followed by a recording saying that voicemail has not been setup and it just disconnects. I have called again, and again, and again, and never an answer. This is very unprofessional, and I have lost enough money now that I cannot afford to order from them going forward. The food is GREAT, and I'm sure the experience would be much better for someone going in to eat onsite. But online orders for curbside pickup have become extremely unreliable and costly. ...
