Captain D's — Restaurant in Jasper

I visit this Captain D's on a regular basis...the food is always good, service is never bad, and the employees are always friendly. Everything is worth coming back to...any time of day or any day of the week. Tonight my wife went through the drive-thru on her way home from work. They left some stuff out of the order. I understand accidents happen. So, I ran back down to the restaurant without eating to get the rest of my order. Obviously my food would now be cold and less desirable. I explained to the worker the situation and it was gonna be taken care of....well, heres my main reason for the review. A young guy by the name of SAM intercepted my receipt and came back with my whole order and apologies for the mistake. Not sure of his title or anything but it appeared that SAM was handling everything quite well. There was a good many people in lobby and drive-thru plus employee issues and he made time to assist me....

I had a bad experience about a couple of weeks ago. The manger, Melissa, immediately contacted me to see what she could do to resolve the issue with my meal. Of course at that time, I wasn’t too happy about the situation at the time. My first thought was just don’t go back. But after calming down, I realized the sincerity in her apology & how she insisted on making it right, I took a chance on her offer. After going back this time around, everything was excellent. From the environment, respectfulness of the cashiers, to speaking to the manager in person. Everything was really really good. She did exactly what she promised, & everything was freshly made to perfection. I definitely recommend eating here. If you have any issues, ask for Melissa. I've been disappointed the last few times I've been. They are so slow. We waited in the drive through for over 10 minutes and at the window at least 5 for just some brocoli and Mac and cheese. The food is great but the wait is way to long. We went back again for the same foos another day and decided to leave the line and go in and they waited on every single drive through person before they gave me my food. Another day me and my dad called ahead of time and ordered the same thing, mac and cheese and brocoli and we got there and he went in to get it and he was waiting inside for about 15 minutes. This is not ok. They are also expensive just 6 or 7 prices of brocoli is 3 dollars and something. My price for just brocoli and mac and cheese is...
