Jack's Family Restaurant — Restaurant in Jasper

I've been eating here a lot because it was close and the food was good. For some reason, that all changed. I went through the drive thru as usual, but I was not greeted, only told what I owed for my order, then the window was slammed in my face, then abruptly opened and my change was thrown in my hand by a purple haired young lady. Then the window was once again slammed close and after a brief wait, the purple haired young lady threw my order into my hands. I was never greeted and she never said anything. Just another slam of the drive through window. The fries were cold and burgers were overcooked and sloppily put together. As a former employee of this restaurant, I know for a fact, this is NOT the way to operate the drive-thru. I will not go there again and caution everyone that I know to avoid this location because of its poor service and attitude towards anyone going the drive-thru route. I'm feeling sad for this person that is working the drive thru with purple hair that has this attitude problem. I suggest someone from corporate drop in and surprise the management at this store , because as a former employee, someone needs to adjust the attitudes of the whole staff as there are more than a few bad apples here. This issue needs addressed because I almost threw the bag back at this person that threw it at me. This is NOT how business is conducted. I would give this location "0" stars if I could. The Curry location is a 5 star establishment. I will drive further , even with high gas prices, just for someone saying "Thank you, come see us again." That makes the difference to some people, instead of a rude transaction. Just a FYI to corporate. At this rate, this location is your worst...

Stopped in to grab quick snack. Husband couldn’t change our boys diaper while I ordered because the men’s room had no changing table. When my husband went to get a booster chair he literally had to put it back together from where it was coming apart as he picked it up. He tried to redeem points we had and the lady at the front counter (don’t know name because no one was wearing badges, she wears a hat and always has a blue towel around her neck) was really rude and told him he done it wrong that she would have to do it and then proceeded to tell him we had already redeemed that reward we couldn’t use it. When she asked for the name on our order I tried to tell her and she didn’t put the correct name. When I told her the correct name and tried to spell it for her she just waved her hand at me and walked away. She then slammed our cups down on the counter and couldn’t even hand me our receipt I had to get it myself. While we were there she also told a random guy to just go in the Women’s bathroom and get the soap off the counter because they didn’t have any. So he went and walked into here while a woman was in there. She also rung up an order of food for him and then proceeded to use her own money to pay for it so she basically checked herself out. The burgers were way burnt to the point they were crunchy but you could tell just from the way the workers talked and ignored everyone besides their “special friends” they...

Ordered a double gravy with small sweet tea. She takes my card and then hands me a bag. I tell her that isn't mine so she responds "well that's what's on my screen" all snarky. She throws the bag that has a sandwich in it and calls a blonde lady over. Woman tells the lady at window (dark hair pulled up tattoos all over her arms) to give me my card back. She hands me a double gravy and doesn't come back. She opens the window and I tell her I had a small tea as well so she pops off "alright you ain't gotta get smart about it". The ONLY person that had a attitude this morning 9/8/25 was you ma'am. Have you a cup of coffee, a cigarette, or don't work with the public if you can't talk like a normal human being without popping off at them for no reason. Attitude from her from the moment she first opened the window. I'm sorry your having a bad day or whatever but that shouldn't roll over to your job. Will definitely share this upsetting experience and the fact that my card wasn't even charged the correct amount AND for some reason they didn't give me a receipt. First and last time here. Edit to add..y'all might wanna cook them biscuits a little longer...they're gooey...
