Subway — Restaurant in Jay

There were several people in line. The employee was friendly and working very hard to me the needs of the customers. My wife and I decided to go somewhere else to eat because the employee who was making the sandwiches was also working the register. She was handling money and then immediately returning to the food station and handling food without changing gloves. I understand it would be a terrible burden to have to wash hands or at the very least, re-glove but still, proper hygiene in the food service business...

Subway in Jay is a quaint little place just east of the courthouse square on the south side of the highway. The employees always have a smile on and are ready to build you an awesome sub. The place is clean and smells like fresh baked bread. My wife and I are big fans of chicken salad. But it's rare that they have it. I'm not sure why they only carry it at certain times. VERY UPSET!!!! I worked a 12 hour shift and went to pick up a couple subs Saturday night 10/1/2022 and they closed AT LEAST 10 minutes EARLY!!! I pulled in at 7:48 Then to top it off was laughed at by the employees that they were closed! I've been in food my WHOLE life until now ... THAT'S UNACCEPTABLE!!!
