Jay Pho — Restaurant in Jay

Took off work early to insure I could make it before the 7pm close time. Since my phone doesn’t do Facebook I found a desktop to ck their Facebook for specials. During the 40min drive to jay I called several times to try n place my order, with no luck do to topography I guess. When we got closer we continued to call with no answer. We arrived to a full parking lot. I found a sign on the door that said they closed a 6 for a special event. They couldn’t be bothered to post it on their Facebook, even though they posted on there that they would be closed 4 days before. Let’s start with the service. The waiters with expedient, the food came out pretty quickly, they knew the menu well, and they were nice.

On atmosphere, it’s just an old cinder block building and pretty plain. But the worst part was the a/c wasn’t working properly and it was over 85 degrees in there. Eating hot pho in a hot building wasn’t that fun. Easy fix if they will do it though.

On food, I give it 4 stars, but for a place in Jay OK which probably isn’t known for Vietnamese/Chinese food I would say it was really good. The ingredients were fresh, the pho was hot, and the pit stickers had a great flavor. It also got a 4 because I have had better that...

My Spring Rolls with Shrimp were delicious, fresh and large 😋

The Pho #1 Combination was very good and not too salty. You can always add salt if you want, but can't remove it if it's too much. The broth was hearty and flavorful and had a depth of flavor. I like a lot of floating fatty flavor and will ask for more next time.

I asked for extra ingredients and they were added!
