Sawaddee Thai Cuisine- Mo Blvd — Restaurant in Jefferson City

I have never posted a bad review and this one has nothing to do with the food (I was trying to give it a try but that didn’t work out) but everything to do with the service. I ordered from Door Dash which I do often from other restaurants and have never had an issue. I had nothing but issues from here. First, I got a call and was told that they thought someone else picked up my order so they didn’t have it. I understand, things happen, so door dash canceled my order and refunded me. I wanted to try the food so I ordered again.

About an hour later I got a text from a different door dash driver asking if I received my order, I said no. They said the restaurant was under the impression that my order was a duplicate so they hadn’t started it. I said no problem, I’ll wait for the order.

45 minutes later I got a call from a different driver saying that they went into the restaurant and the woman said she didn’t think anyone would come and pick up my order so she hadn’t even started making it. I tried to call and check on the order myself and no one would answer. I called the door dash hotline and they called and again no one would answer so they had to cancel my order for the second time. Two orders and two HOURS later I still have no food. I understand that everyone makes mistakes and maybe they were having an off night, but this is unacceptable....

We went here for the first time on Valentines day. We had such a great experience. The food was exceptionally good. Everyone on our family loves the food even our picky 10 year old said it was the best crab rangoons and shrimp fried rice ever. We like to try new things and I think this is the perfect place to get something a little different than the same boring Jefferson City cuisine but also can cater to those who aren't as adventurous. Our 18 month old even loves to eat here. Since we have been suggesting everyone we know to try it! The best part is the staff. Our sever was very sweet with our kids. We went again for my boyfriends birthday and they really made it a special time. We usually eat later than most people and get to the restaurant about an hour before they close. Because of my long time experience working in the food industry I know that this can be a pain, so we try really hard to get in and out and make it easy on the workers who are probably ready to get home. The sever was very sweet and brought us a desert for his birthday. We got to meet the other two staff that had made our meal and one even gave my boyfriend a gift for his birthday. They even offered to share their dinner with us. (It was very delicious) I cannot explain how much their kindness touched us. We will always remember this birthday for a long time and...

Went to lunch with friends from work. Group of 9. Ordered an appetizer and a "special" with a glass of tea. Although prices are listed in the menu there are no prices listed on the "specials" board. The appetizer was not exceptional, but it was ok. When I went to pay, there was an English speaking kid working the register who I told what I had. Again, there were no prices listed for the "specials" so when the total he gave me was $12+ I thought little about it. The man in the kitchen was taking pictures of people as they paid which I found kind of odd. After leaving, my friends were called out as they left stating that someone did not pay for an appetizer. They paid for it and came to speak to me about it. I guess $12+ for a "special" did not include the price of the appetizer, although no ticket was given for my meal nor was their a receipt given. The food was amazing but I seriously inquire as to what makes what I ordered "special" if it is on the menu as a regular item and there is no price break. They might want to be a little clearer on their pricing if there is such a language barrier. Good food - customer service not so much. This was the restaurant off of...
