I pass this place all the time and tell myself I should try it. I end up forgetting I'm actually hungry. Honestly, I couldn't get myself to want to eat at a place called Brandy's; it sounds like a name of a bar .
Anyway, I finally took the plunge tonight after a trip to Ace. I pass a driver as he exits, and he said hi and held the door. I'm not sure if he worked for them or Grubhub, but that was so nice. No one does that anymore, except me. I go in and start looking at their unexpectedly huge menu.
After a minute, I get greeted by a nice cashier. I tell him that I've never been before as I try to take in everything... I found the combo menu and ordered the #1, a gyro sandwich with fries and a drink. I love gyros so that was an easy decision especially since they carve it fresh off the spit.
I fill up my drink and a few minutes later my order was ready. The cook hands it to me and asks if I want napkins and ketchup. I say sure on the napkins. He hands me a bunch.
The people are here super nice! I'll be a repeat customer just for that.
I go home and finally get to eat. Then gyro was amazing. Not.only did they overfill with meat, it was so flavorful! The sauce was yummy. The tomato slices were thick and juicy.
The fries were good too, but that gyro!
I will go again and try other things. I might have to order the gyro a billion more times before I venture to another menu item though.
They also have these slices of baklava the size of my foot. They were huge! I might have to try it one day when I feel like...

I went to Brandy's to get 2 tacos fries and a drink. 9.75 my total. First of all they tried to give me fries that was already sitting there when I walked in. Instead of just cooking new fries. The cook put the fries that was sitting there back in the grease to re cook. I told him I wanted fresh fried. But it's got even worse. When I took a bit from the so called beef one. It wasn't really beef. The steak was even worse. I can't believe this place is still open. They was closing. All the old sauce. They just put back in the cooler. From the 0ne bit from the beef taco and one bit from the steal taco. I have been on the toilet all night. My stomach is so upset. I really feel like I got food poison. If I don't feel better by noon. They need to have more drivers. I placed an order over the phone, gave my address, and that was it. I get a call 20 minutes later saying the food can't be delivered because I'm apparently 4 miles away when I'm only 3.2 miles away. So I had to have someone give me a ride to the place to pick it up since I don't have a car. 2 minutes away from the place, I get a call saying the food was gonna be delivered but it's "A tad farther than what the driver usually goes and it's going to be a while", and I was already about to be there. I shouldn't have to travel back and forth just to have a driver finally change his mind and deliver cold food. The workers and management need to be more diligent with looking up addresses BEFORE charging for the food, because they sure didn't hesitate to take my money on the phone.
