El Pueblito Mexican Grill — Restaurant in Jefferson Township

Small (the little house) Mexican Grill restaurant which is on the southwest corner of Foster and Cicero. Easy to miss if driving. Choice of pick-up; dine-in table service or delivery by GrubHub (haven't tried it). Plenty of seating. Double seat booths on the sides, quadruple size down the middle No counter seating. Sparsely furnished but clean with warm adobe orange-brown walls. A few paintings. TV in the corner. Family friendly, all ages come here. High chair in the corner. Friendly staff. Shy Stephanie very courteous, explained menu, brought take out over to me. Reasonable prices. They have everything on their menu that I enjoy. 1.5 pound chorizo burrito. Super Nachos. Ground beef 🌮 dinner. Huge portions. Take-out in styrofoam with four spaced air holes to avoid moisture build- up. Love this place. Parking lot in front. Mildly busy Sunday evening. Credit cards with ID. No $100 bills. Purell dispenser to clean your hands pre & post. No public bathroom (posted): for customers only. Authentic Mexican cuisine. Delicious. No contaminants in food as someone suggested. Come here...

Have ordered here for 7+ years and never had an issue. Moved 3x and they have been able to deliver. Recently they have removed themselves from 3rd party apps & now have their own app. I'm not a "call in" person and have always enjoyed ordering online. It was very upsetting that they no longer use apps. They do have their own app however I've had issues with items missing and had to call anyways to confirm they still have. Recently the app switched my order from delivery to pickup. Called to let them know and the girl on the phone was not happy to hear this. First said can't help me fix this, then when I wanted to figure out what solution we can do stopped me mid sentence and said she changed it to delivery... I just feel that Recently their customer service has gone...

Customer service was terrible!!! I called for delivery. I was told my card was invalid and was not notified if the order went through. I was heading out to get food from another restaurant when unexpectedly a nice delivery guy arrived with the order and tried to be helpful. The person that took the order said that I should have called to check if the order went through. Maybe I should have, but it would have been nice to get a call back to notify me that my card went through and the order was on its way. Overall, I think the way she handled the order was very unprofessional.

Foodwise, it was okay. So, if the food was okay and the service was bad, I definitely would not order from here and I would not recommend this...
