Revisited 10/24 Hooters ownership had reached out to me in regards to my initial review (kept below for other readers) and offered a cash certificate to come back. We did retry Hooters. It was better than the first time, but still wasnt that great. We did have a burger that was properly cooked to order and it was pretty good. But the wings were just as underwhelming as the first time. Service was better this time. We did note that side dishes like fries and dips are all additional charges. Our overall bill was $48, but even after applying the gift certificate and bringing the cost down to $23. It barely felt like we had $23 in food. It's just overpriced here. Thank you to ownership for reaching out, we do appreciate it. My original review was 2 stars, this visit was maybe a 3.5. So I'll cut the difference and settle on 3 stars. But I still have no desire to go back. Reaching out again won't be necessary. Thank you. ORIGINAL REVIEW I personally wanted to give Hooters 1 star, but seeing as 1 star means "I hated it" I couldn't. I strongly disliked it for a number of reasons, but first lets focus on the good things. The restaurant accepted reservations and held onto them well. The waitresses are vibrant and the traditional wing quality is about what I expected and I have high expectations for wings. Now the less than ideal. The food had such little flavor. Traditional Daytona Wings (pictured) had an underwhelming sweet heat flavor. The blackened chicken caesar salad was very disappointing. The chicken did not have any taste to it and the dressing was watery. What made the experience even worse is that i received the salad at least a full 5 minutes before I even had a fork to eat it with. My previous experience with Hooters (not this location) was lackluster and this visit only confirmed that I wont return to another one.

I had one of the worst dining experiences I’ve ever had at this Hooters location. The manager, Antonio, was shockingly unprofessional — instead of addressing a concern I had, he became visibly irritated and got rude with me, as if I was a burden rather than a customer. Completely unacceptable behavior from someone in a leadership role. To make matters worse, our waitress seemed totally disinterested in providing decent service. She kept scratching her scalp with her long acrylic nails (which is incredibly off-putting when you’re about to eat), and literally threw the plates on our table like she couldn’t care less. The food was no better. The chicken wings were greasy, soggy, and cold — completely unappetizing and far from what you’d expect from a restaurant that claims to specialize in wings. The whole experience felt chaotic, unhygienic, and honestly, like they just didn’t care. Antonio and the staff need serious training in professionalism, hygiene, and basic customer service. I don’t leave many bad reviews, but this visit deserves it. I won’t be coming back, and I wouldn’t recommend this location to anyone.

Went here on a Thursday evening at about 8pm. There was about a 15 min wait. We received a text when our table was ready. The waitress was nice but during service we could tell she was occupied. Sadly, the best thing we ate were the loaded tater tots. These were very good, no complaints. Both of my kids were disappointed with the chicken. The wings came out and were barely sauced. They were also room temp coming to the table. This supports our claim that the waitress was just too busy. I don't understand dining in at a restaurant and the food not being piping hot when it comes to the table. The chicken also wasn't crispy. The fries were terrible. They weren't hot, and they weren't crispy. They also charge extra for ranch. My kids didn't finish their food and I took home leftovers that I won't eat. This was all of our 1st time at Hooters. It will probably be our last. There are just too many options out there for mediocre service and mediocre food.

Average sized location & staff are pretty but that faded away with the negative service. I believe we had Valory bc it was printed on our reciept.Besides a group of guys next to us, a good chunk of the area that surrounded us were empty for the majority of our dinner up until our check arrived. Everything was fine until the food actually arrived. The fries were cold & i asked for a replacement. She left them on the table even though no one wanted them. The replacements weren't much better, but I let it go because we were hungry & obviously it wasn't a priority TWICE for both departments. (Why subject yourself to doubling the trip for fries if it clearly isn't even warm in the window?) Then when she asked the customary question of, "is there anything you else you guys need?", she made it clear she was avoiding us & would walk away from our table in mid-sentence before the group was able to finish responding. We have enough sense to understand that people take turns to speak. To get her to stop, someone had to actually say "Hey, can you stop walking away & cutting off complete answers on which drinks to refill for the table as a whole ? " .....It didn't make sense from our perspective to unnecessarily have separate wait times for each individual fountain & alcohol drink mid meal. We informed the manager in the maroon company polo (Mike or Mark) . He was understanding & i was able to see he had calmly brought it to the servers attention. Unfortunately, body language showed that she couldn't have cared less and rolled her eyes along with a hand movement to dismiss him and storm...

Came to this restaurant after the Wolves game and to celebrate a birthday. We got sat at table 11. It took them 10 mins to greet our table. Another 10 mins to receive our drinks from the bar, which we saw sitting there the whole time at the bar well. Then placed our orders. Food came out in a timely matter but the food was horrible. Not enough sauce and where cold. Fries where not cooked all the way and also where cold. Service overall was terrible and food was terrible. Spoke to the manager on duty tonight, told him what was wrong with it. He said ok let me go look. After about 5 mins we got our check. He didn't comp anything off the bill and we also got charged an 18% auto gratuity. Another that one of the ladies from our table went back to talk to him. He came back with only $25 off the tab. Mind you we had 8 ppl table with 18% added was $367. So when he comes back told us we ate most of our food, totally incorrect. And that most he was able to do was the 25/26 bucks off. I said at least take the 18% auto off due to the service and horrible food. Not worried bout paying for the the bad food. Says he couldn't due to the system. Overall you don't treat customers that way and you don't just brush off a situation like that. I've been in the industry for 20 years, prob the worst experience ever with a manager at any restaurant. By FAR the worst experience ever at Hooters! I wouldn't recommend this location here in ohare off Higgins road ever to anyone. Corporate Will...
