Your front desk manager Ray is rude and could use some training on proper hospitality tact and racial sensitivity in the United States, a country I’m pretty sure he is not a native of therefore wouldn’t properly understand the delicate dynamic of race in this country… while waiting on line and observing Ray interact with a white female, I noticed his adequate use of pleasantries and undivided attention….. That’s why I was shocked when my turn in line was postponed without even a hint of a greeting! No sir I’ll be right with you, or give me a second, just complete disregard for the person next in line (me) as he waltzed right past me. I wasn’t that shocked when I realized the reason for my insignificant lack of existence according to Ray’s perception… He had skipped over me to hurry to the aid of a white woman who was praising him with compliments or something of the sort.. After accepting the praise and ensuring all the needs of the undoubtedly well paying white customer and probably regular to the hotel (heard him say Dr.), he then decided I was now worth of being helped. When I made him aware of his probably unknowingly bias behavior by bringing his attention to the rudeness of his actions and calling him rude and a racist he then denied me service flaunting his rank and position as the end all say so n matters of unfair treatment. Going further, he then threaten to call police on me for me exposing his wicked heart. Then went as far as to say and I quote “it’s always the race card with YOU GUYS….” What a way to be welcomed by Marriott staff after a long day of botched travel on behalf of the Airlines who had given me a voucher to stay the night at the Hotel for their lack of professionalism. It is so great to know that we can count on Marriott staff of the “Ray” caliber to attend to all our hospitality needs after a long day of travel by ignoring you and shouting racial slurs like “it’s always the race thing with you guys,” I wonder how much good publicity that brings to Marriott?? I have never known Marriott to be so disrespectful especially since they service the hospitality industry. Guess you gotta be a rich white doctor to get with some common decency by Marriott hospitality staff.

Outside room viewing the outdoor pool which would have been nice if it was summer time. The gap on the door leading out to that pool was huge.. so the room was either super warm or super cold. I had to put towels in front of the gap to keep the wind from blowing in. The bathtub faucet wasn't able to be turned off so water was always on. The room contained someone else's trash that was tucked behind the sitting chair. Which tells me that they do a subpar cleaning. The restaurant located at the hotel was interesting... I had the sous chef come out and berate me for several minutes telling me that I was wrong for sending a very salty fusion bowl that looks like brown throw up back. The waiter just stood there on the other side letting it take place. The only thing that was nice was the chicken Milanese for the replacement. The conference room was decent and the tech worked great. Food for the conference was also amazing and staff that helped with the business conference was amazing, as well. Overall, if I had a choice to go back for leisure or even to fly out O'Hare I would seek another hotel in the area. Not worth the value if you have a choice.

Bottom line up front, unresolved phone answering by the front desk over two days and Wi-Fi issues without local support to address connectivity issues: Arrived for business and checking was good. Bathrooms appear updated but small and awkward to use. You have to turn on the shower by pulling a knob and will be immediately hit by cold stream of water, as you are forced access from one end and can only turn on the water straight on. I am sure a young ninja can find a way to avoid the cold blast on their arm, but I am no longer young. Immediately discovered that I could not connect to Wi-Fi in my room, so attempted to call the front desk to get it fixed. No answer to the phone, even after attempting several times. Tried both the “At Your Service” line and the “Internet Support” line on the phone with the same result. I even tried my backup computer, to rule out a device issue without being able to connect on it as well. I met with my team shortly after arrival in the lobby and the same issues were experienced by them. The lobby was very full with checking and the front desk staff appeared overwhelmed, so we called it a night, as we had to leave early in the morning for our meeting. The next day, after returning from the meeting, I attempted to gain Wi-Fi access again, without lick, as I had ti complete a report. Numerous attempts at calling failed with either no answer ( 20 rings) or busy signal. Again, front desk was very busy and I chose to go to bed after a long day. This AM, the same process was repeated, numerous calls with no answer after long waits, but finally one attempt got a quick pickup and then placed on hold immediately without a done speaking on the desks end. After an approximately 5 minute hold, it started ringing again and was picked up and hung up very quickly. I then went down to the desk and asked for the manager. I explained the above and she explained they had “issues”, but did not explain further on what issues and if it was related to Wi-Fi or phones. She then asked if I was in the north or south tower. I said I had no idea, as I had only been given my room number, not a tower designation upon check in and the desk had only provided me a numeric written room number. She explained that I had to use the “N” or “S” along with the numeric room number to access the Wi-Fi. However, when she tried to log in on my computer with the “correct “ room number, we received the same error message that the number and name did not match in their system. A few more attempts with the same results were tried. She verified the info in her system, including the spelling of my name, as well as verifying the system was working and exclaimed she didn’t know what was wrong. I then asked if they had IT support and she said she wasn’t sure if they were present at the hotel today and said she would check. She asked if she could send them to my room if they were on site, and I said yes. About an hour later, maintenance arrived at my room and said they had a report my TV wasn’t working. I explained the TV was fine, but they were supposed to send someone fix the Wi-Fi issue. He said he did not do IT support and apologized. I was provided a later checkout as a result, but will never stay here again. I chose this location for our team due to proximity to our meeting site and airport for arrival. I added an extra day so I could complete electronic reports prior to leaving, so my work would be completed before I went home for the rest of the weekend. I will now need to do my work tomorrow at home where I will have Wi-Fi access. Marriott is VERY good normally, but this experience was 1-2 star level issues with shower design, lack of phone answering by staff, and lack of solutions for Wi-Fi issues. Small awkward shower stall. Great bar/restaurant staff and products. Poor selection of products in “store” at front desk (lots of empty shelf space with very small selection Pepsi products but no diet soda). Proximity to...

TERRIBLE! No stars. Read other reviews below mine. Nothing has changed from one month to the next apparently.

First upon entering and checking in the "Front desk lady was very rude." We are staying here for 5-Nights right now and I absolutely wished we did not book this place.

The place is outdated and run down and for the cost per night, plus the "SURPRISE $32.00 a day extra for parking" even for guests who pay and are staying here is ridiculous! So just add that cost per night to your stay.

With the nickel and diming, they have no continental breakfast. It seems enough customers had paid enough money to this location they could do a continental breakfast for their guest or only make people that are not staying here pay for parking.

-No breakfast

-The Beds are very uncomfortable FIRM and so for firm bed owners you will sleep good for people like me Terrible sleep. My joints hate me because I slept on a rock slab last night.

-Room extremely small for the price. Bathroom is outdated and extremely small. The bathroom door sticks no exhaust fan.

-The carpet is gross and has probably been here since the begnning of time of this hotel.

-There is not an area for the coffee pot so they put it next to the TV.

-It smells like old must coming down the hallways.

The only nice thing this location has is a nice pool, Don't be fooled it cold today so can't use it. So we thought we would go into the hot tub. Oh wait!!! There isn't one like we thought.

I am a Marriott Bonvoy Carholder and have written excellent reviews on Towne Place suites in KC and at the Sheraton Suites at Cuyahoga Falls. I don't only rite bad reviews. But, Marriot in Chicago O'Hare on Higgins Rd.

You are by far the worse Marriott Bonvoy property I have ever stayed at and you get "0" stars. I do not recommend anyone staying here unless they absolutely have too... but only for 1 night. Please do not waste your money, opt for something nicer. There are several hotels in the area. You pay these people to stay in business think about what you can have better with your hard earned money and time before you waste it on this Marriott on Higgins Rd. In Rosemont, IL. I am stressing the address because there is another one on River Rd.

Screw your parking cost for people that stay here more than 3 nights. Figure a better way to do business because you will get more terrible Reviews and eventually you will have no guests that stay here. I really hope for this place the best, but bad front desk customer service and outdated still!

You all need to do a SWOT analyst of this place and fix your hotel. It is so shameful, and Marriott should be ashamed of this place to even have their name on it.

I am going to add a review every night until we leave as I see fit if there is good then I will write what is good, if it is not I will write that too. Also instagram and you tube are next. I will be doing a live feed.

Oh yeah the cost for a 1 plain bagel and cream cheese is $10.32 and they charge 3 taxes on this as well, (a city tax, a county tax, a service tax, and a sales tax of 10.5%

The TV was broken and did not work.

And Last but NOT Least as we were leaving after spending 5 nights there. Our car was keyed in their so called secured parking lot that we payed $32.00 a day to park in for 5 days. Please...

Stayed (Oct. 20-21-2022) Do not get fooled by the “Breakfast” under Amenities on their official website and “Paid Breakfast” under Amenities on Google. Breakfast is NOT included; you must pay for it. WIFI is also available with a string attached to $$. Most (if not all) motels do not even charge for WIFI access, and guys this is a Marriot!! I had only used their WIFI when attempting to prove to the "receptionista" that their site says “breakfast included” using my personal laptop and you guessed it, they had charge me $13 for using it. I highly doubt that this hotel is Corporate owned and that somebody owns this. I hope you read this before booking a room(s) here. Are you connecting your flight with an overnight layover or an “all day” layover? Do not limit yourself (or yourselves) to stay here, there are plenty of hotels within airport shuttle range. I would advise against staying here. If you want to redeem or earn points at a Marriott, try the other one (Chicago Marriott Suites) which is closer yet to ORD Airport: 6155 N River Rd, or any other Mariott hotels. I have never stayed in that one or the others, so I do not know what the experience is like in that one or the others yet, but I suggest going to that one before this one. Rooms are good. Beds/pillows are comfortable at superior level, for a 4-star hotel standards; showers at 2 queen Room would get 2 stars, the showers are far dated. halls looked somewhat luxurious, but had some spider webs. indoor half of pool area is very nice but the pool it's self with it's conditions doesn't match, the upper-scaled area surrounding the pool would have high rating, outdoor half of pool surrounding area is the same. Gym seems good at first glance. Service over all wasn't the worst but just wasn't good, not expected for Marriot. This hotel still have an up-scale feel, but it seems to lack maintenance and is running down. You have to pay to view your flight info online from bed, play video games on phone that uses internet in bed, work with your PC from bed (anything you do that you need WIFI for), and breakfast. If you're looking for hotels with breakfast included, look for "Breakfast included", "Complimentary Breakfast", "Free Breakfast", NOT "Breakfast" , NOR "Paid Breakfast". I only booked 1 room, not "4", I don't know how to change that "4" to a "1" under my main...
