I've never heard about Jersey Mike's subs before till a few days ago when I saw a YouTube video reviewing them, before that I was a Subway guy so I decided to give it a try, I love the tuna sandwich from Subway so I ordered their version of it to compare and I got to say it's delicious! The bread is a bit different, instead of Italian they have white bread which looks more like a French roll, their sizes are also different, Jersey Mike's giant size is a bit longer and beefier than Subway's foot long but is also soft, they also have a regular size which is half of the giant and the mini which is a quarter, I also ordered the Super sub and I noticed that they slice the cheese and meat at the moment you order which is cool because you kind of get a fresher sandwich, they portions are also generous, you can see the ingredients overflowing on the sides of the bread. Overall Jersey Mike's Subs are bigger and better although they are more expensive than Subway's but you get what you pay for, I'll visiting more often...
Read moreI am a teacher at the neighborhood high school, and have been going to this location since they have opened and love it! The management and employees at this location are hands down the most friendly and as close to a family feel as I have ever felt at a sub shop. The managers know me by name, and are always asking how my day is going, or checking in on something I shared with them in past times. The type of people you know care about you but also put that care into making the subs. They always keep the place clean while staying friendly with all who enter, especially the students from the local high school. It is because of these reasons I don’t even think about any other sub shops near by when thinking about where I’m getting lunch. As long as management stays the same I’ll continue to come in, in my opinion I believe one of the managers is meant for much higher things within the company. I hope they know what kind of person they have working for them....
Read moreUSE CAUTION when ordering here at lunch time. The place itself wasn't very busy. I walked in, ordered an Italian sub and the 4 employees behind the counter proceeded to let me stand there for 15 minutes while they "forgot" my order. After the 15 minutes I looked at them and asked what was up and they looked at me confused and asked me what I ordered. It seems they process all of the carryout orders first (there were about 20 carryout bags one the side counter) and every employee was preoccupied with the revolving door of uber drivers who pick up these orders, so me standing there in front of the condiment station for 15 minutes didn't register with them. "I'm sorry!" the first station guy said "what did you order again?", and then I proceeded to wait another 10 minutes before I just asked for a refund. no apology, no nothing. SO BE CAREFUL if you order here at lunch time they will seemingly be ok with you just standing there forever without...
