Mr. Zee's Famous Chicken — Restaurant in Jefferson Township

very bad experience and horrible food with poor presentation, a few weeks ago everything was super good, the rice tasted good, the potatoes were small and tasted exquisite, the chicken was a good size and tasted delicious, the coleslaw was very delicious too.... today when I went the same person from a few weeks ago was no longer there, I asked for him and they told me that he is no longer there and that he handed the business over to the previous owners, I spoke to the person who was there today Sunday and he told me that they have returned to the old recipes that work better! that is not true, today they gave me reheated food because the chicken kabob that I ordered took a long time to give it to me because they cooked it at the moment, and it had grilled vegetables, today's did not have grilled vegetables and had two huge pieces of potatoes, the supposed onion and tomato salad was horrible, they did not put the white sauce that was there before, it was wasted money because we did not like the taste of anything, the food was horrible! I called the person and he told me that's what it is now and that they're not going to change. I told him that today he was losing a customer who bought at least three times a week, and he responded that he didn't care that they have more customers coming in. Total disappointment. I advise you not to go to that place. They don't care about selling reheated food! Bad service, bad...

I called twice to ask their business hours since the online hours on google are not accurate and was hung up on both times!! According to the old lady answering the telephone she said she was taking a credit card payment and to call back in ten minutes and hung up. I called back again and she answered saying the same exact thing. To call back in ten minutes because she’s still on the other line taking a credit card payment! How rude and unprofessional is this ? I have never received such a rude and unacceptable response. I have been a customer for years on both locations as even had catering for my parties from these locations and this is the type of service they give in return ?? Not acceptable! She could have at least put me on hold or given me the hours. She did not let me say a word and it was a quick question that shoe could have easily answered. Customer service and quality is everything to me and I will not be returning to this location after this! If they don’t want my business I can take it elsewhere!!! What do I look like calling after ten minutes twice to get this treatment when there is plenty of restaurants that want...

Mr Zee's... A restaurant wrapped in a quandary between mediocrity and greatness. Their Italian Beef (speaking strictly about the beef itself) is probably the best in all of Dunning, but their gravy leaves something to be desired. Their half chicken grecian dinner is fully loaded with sides up the wazoo. The best deal on the menu is the patty melt which comes with fries and a pickle for roughly $6.50 (prices undoubtedly subject to change) but be sure to grab a salt packet or two as their fries come unsalted. Do NOT get the ribeye sandwich. It is pounded too flat and they cook all the juices out of the steak. It was a disappointment. Go up to Jay's if you want a better steak sandwich. I used to eat here at least twice a week for the convenience, but the value seems to depend on whichever cooks are working on any given day. Regardless, the old Greek lady makes you feel at home on every visit and once she sees you come in on a regular basis she'll treat you like a member...
