Pollo Campero — Restaurant in Jefferson Township

Bizarre and disrespectful treatment of my family by the cashier. It’s something that I’ve ever seen at a fast food restaurant before. In every other fast food restaurant that I’ve ever eaten in over the last half century, if a family enters, it’s customary for the family members to seat themselves at an empty table while one or two members of the family get in line to order and pay for the food. Not in this restaurant, though. Five members of my family took their seats at a table while my adult son waited in the line to place the order. A cashier came out and told those seated that we needed to get up from the seats and all go stand in line with my son — on the ground that patrons aren’t allowed to seat themselves until the moment they have the order of food in hand — as if we were somehow trying to steal the seats without buying food there. Very alarming treatment. Last time we eat there. The staff doesn’t seem to be familiar with the conventions of fast food restaurants, in which, unlike with more formal venues, there is no host or hostess to show people to...

A ⚠️ warning to chemically sensitive people! One or more employees here started using searing stinging Gain scent beads. My family used to spend a couple hundred dollars a week here. We are all terribly allergic to Gain scent beads. If they do not stop using Gain scent beads here, we are going to stop coming here altogether!

Flavor is great, atmosphere is great. Very friendly. Kind of expensivo... indoor air contaminated with Gain and/or Suavitel detergent. Makes me very itchy 😫 internally. If you try to eat chicken inside, while breathing this Gain detergent air, your shoulder and hand will be uncoordinated with electric itchy nerve sensation. Lots of employees and customers with toxic Gain detergent and/or Suavitel. If you are an employee here, don't use toxic scented detergents like Gain (no beads/dryer sheets either). Do unscented, or the less toxic Tide red

The service here was horrible the staff is full of attitude and can’t admit when they are wrong.

Me and my wife went in for some food and were told to sit at table B. We watched our food get plated and one of the ladies (heavier set lady) behind the counter grabbed our food and took it to the wrong table, while she carried the food past us I tried to grab her attention to let her know it was our food. The lady then waived me off and continued to take the food to the wrong table. While walking back my wife tried to catch her attention by saying she had a question. Once again we were waived off, and she went on back to the counter. Funny thing is the table the food ended up WASN’T even done ordering yet. The male worker that was there then came to grab the food to bring it over and told us we were at the wrong table when the tables are MARKED WITH THE LETTER OF THE TABLE ON IT. At no point did they say it was their fault and instead pushed all the blame onto us....
