Man, hate to be that guy but this place needs either a new leadership or system. I read some reviews before coming here, and some of them were that they tried to charge people for things that didnt even exist or what not. When I ordered the strangest thing was when i handed my cc, they had my card for a good ten minutes and I had no idea where it was. AND then when i finally got my card back, they all looked weird, and the girl barely looked at me and I said "wheres my receipt?, and she looked panicked and was like oh you want a receipt?... and says nothing and gets quiet. some other guy comes and says oh itll be on the bag with the food. (weird but ok fair enough) get my food finally after waiting, and just briefly checked the receipt. Math doesnt add up at all, so at first I was like nah im tripping, nopes, the guy who literally handed me the food was so confused he even did the math my order was 7$ more than it adds up. The guy even uses a calculator and was like oh no this is wrong, and took it inside. after AGAIN waiting, some girl comes over and starts telling theres charges to make a meal or combo that doesnt exist(? like what is even that?), and then I was like ok?... so then why didnt anyone tell me of these charges when i LITERALLY asked if there was a combo, and if its a meal. SO i was literally misled to buy a combo when they said it already existed and it didnt. So i asked can i get it refunded of just a portion or something? Nopes she said its on me, LOL HOW? I literally asked the guy if there was a meal and she admitted to saying "oh he didnt know thats why" SO IM CHARGED FOR SOMEONES IGNORANCE? man this...
Read moreWas beginning to love this place; not anymore. I went four times. It was my new go to instead of the McDonalds across the street. Somewhere to eat before my next class. 5th time I went was terrible. I got real bad vibes from a group of guys sitting down one of which worked their maybe the owner. Gave me death stares. Even two ppl behind the counter gave me death stares. Like here he comes again or something. I was always so nice and positive. Maybe they didn't like me not ordering everything at once. I didnt want to spend what I couldn't handle so soon. I was trying new things out too. Maybe they didn't like me standing so close to the counter waiting for my order. Maybe my canada jacket pissed them off Idk. But my instincts said my order was gonna get messed up.... And it did. Everybody knows you are suppose to get a big bag of fries for 4$ and I got a small McDonald size fries for 4$. I was so mad but I ate it and than peacefully explained this doesn't seem right. The first guy maybe the owner(who served me the fries personally) came running behind the counter from his table of goons to be nosey. He sarcastically offered me a free drink asked me my name and my schedule of when I'll be here again. It all felt super douchey and creeper tones of voice. I bullshitted him on my schedule and said I gotta go to class I just hope you guys dont have a problem with me. And left. Really like this place but I know for certain I was discriminated against as I was walking to the front door to enter.....I would've dropped 50$ a month on them I'll take my money...
Read moreOrdered through Grubhub and the food never got delivered. I received a call from the driver who stated the food was delievered and after that 11 second call, I went to grab the food as I chose contact free delivery and it was not there. I called the driver back and he never answered so I chose to call the restaurant to find out what happened. I spoke with someone who claimed to be the owner and explained my situation to him. He tells me that his driver called me multiple times and that I did not answer which is completely false as I even have the call record that shows it was an 11 second call. He then proceeds to tell me that it is my fault for choosing contact free delivery and that anyone could have walked up and stole the food. It took me less than a minute to get to the front door and see that the food wasn't there. Also if contact free delivery is an option, shouldn't the drivers wait to verify that the food has been delievered to the person who ordered? I've chosen this option since the lockdown began and every driver for every other restuarant has waited in their car to verify that I received my order. Finally the "owner" just hangs up on me ( can really see the lack of customer service there). Fortunately Grubhub's customer service was able to help me sort the situation out and I will never be ordering from this...
