Worst location. Clueless high school kids who don’t care, standing around with no/poor management. They had two drive through lines with only one order taker. As the order taker went back and forth between lines she skipped my vehicle and continued back behind me. I stopped at the sign and asked (at the sign) if they were taking my order through the sign. No response. When I got to the door where they carry out food, I watched about a dozen young employees looking bored near the door, none of which I could catch their attention without yelling. The blue shirt manager was asking the other line the question of the day “do you like breakfast or dinner better?” To the car in front of the other line. After the passed out food to two or three cars behind me, I realized how long it was holding them up, so I turned off my truck and walked over to the door where the employees were congregating and felt like I was rudely interrupting their conversations but one of them took my order while the others scattered. 3-4 minutes later, the first employee to approach my vehicle kindly but without any apology asked me to pull forward. After waiting another 4 or 5 minutes I parked and went in and asked Zeke, the blue shirt manager for a refund. He refunded it and then offered the food since it was already made.
They should have had 2 order takers for 2 car lines or 1 line when only 1 order taker. How could they all be so oblivious and not notify the manager when they notice that the car in front doesn’t have an order. Way too many employees, not enough supervision. I even said to Zeke, “look at them standing around, that guy literally has his hands on his hips.” This store has terrible reviews for a Chic Fila. It’s not just startup hiccups, it’s poor leadership, probably not just by Zeke. His staff probably do not respect or support him because his manager or the owners do not give him the authority and respect he needs to command such a big crew.
My family loves Chic Fila. But I’ll go to Braselton or Commerce, way out of my way to see any other Chic Fila first. I spent 30 minutes at least from...
Read moreEveryone brushes off the problems at the Jefferson Chick-fil-A by saying "it's just kids" referring to the seemingly high school aged people working there, or "it's still new" after it's been open for months now. Well, the first few times I chalked my experiences up to this too.
Now there is no excuse because the establishment has been open for months and should have been able to knock out any issues by now. If the issues are because they have school age kids working then they either need to provide better training and accountability or need a new staff. Yes, those "kids" need jobs too if that's what they choose but they can either give the service that Chick-fil-A is known for or they can go find something else to do.
drive thru even if placing order in advance is typically at least a 15 minute wait or longer depending on order. Food such as fries and chicken tenders/nuggets are rarely fresh straight from the bag in the car and usually cold in the less than 5 minute ride home. have been doing mobile order carry-out to avoid sitting in drive thru, same deal though, can see order being put in bag and food is rarely fresh. at least 5 times since opening our order has been missing items, drinks, treats, whole meals you name it. call store to get it fixed and have been met with rude attitudes. Have to drive back that day to get food if you want it then or you have 30 days to get it after you get it submitted. there is so many people "at work" but are not working, either in groups chatting, on phones, or will look at you and walk off multiple times without providing any customer service. management staff non-existent even when they are standing right there.
I travel all over the country and this is probably one of the worst Chick-fil-As I have ever been to. Food taste is okay but customer service and just basic making sure what's on the order is in the bag is atrocious.
I WOULD recommend the extra 10-15 minute drive from this location to the brasleton location for a much...
Read moreBe prepared to wait at this location, and do not bother going at all if you’re in a hurry. This morning I waited nearly 25 minutes in line from the time I placed my mobile order at 8:23 am (when I first pulled into the drive thru line) to 8:47 am when I finally made it to the window and received my order of hash browns and unsweet tea. While I was given a card for a free sandwich or nuggets, I honestly just want them to do better as the shortest time I’ve ever waited in the drive thru was 20 minutes and I’ve been over a dozen times. I keep hoping they’ll improve since it’s a newer location and obviously they’re going to have kinks to work out in the beginning, but this location has been open for several months now. I’m not sure if staffing is an issue, lack of proper training, or a combination of the two, and I really do feel for the staff as they’ve all been kind and polite. I’m sure they bear the brunt of the frustration from customers waiting egregious amounts of time on what is supposed to be fast food.
The most frustrating experience I have had aside from extended wait times was watching young staff members who obviously lack training allow a car to sit at the front of the line for over 7 minutes waiting on his food after myself and at least 4 other cars in the same line directly behind me already had their food and were stuck behind the first guy still waiting on his food. The clear thing to do there to keep the drive thru moving and avoid a major backup and time delay for patrons would be to ask the front car to move to one of the parking spots Chick-fil-A utilizes for orders that are going to take a bit longer. I had to suggest this to one of the young girls working the drive thru. They were running around like chickens with their heads cut off, and needed someone to give them direction. I really hope this location is able to work through its issues and get up to the standard Chick-fil-A experience customers are...
