Papa Johns Pizza — Restaurant in Jefferson

Today was a rough day. Sitting in traffic on my long drive home from Atlanta, my husband calls to ask about dinner. We discuss and decide on Papa John. Since hands-free is a great idea for safety, I hit the button to call Papa John's. After having to press 1 for this, 2 for that, 3 for another thing, I finally speak to a human. This gentleman had an accent and seemed to be speaking from a script which was unusual compared to my last 10 years of calling Papa John's Jefferson GA. First off, generally when people CALL, they're either driving or have a problem that can't easily be fixed with an app. Second, I have no issue with that gentleman working a job. Back to my experience today... I asked if he was located at the Jefferson branch. He said no but he would be happy to help me. I asked if I could speak to someone at the Jefferson branch. He said no but he would be happy to help. The guy was professional so I'm not aggravated with him. I am aggravated at Papa John's because they said who cares about personal customer service. I don't want to talk to a person in another city, possibly continent. I want to talk to the people that will be making my food. I hung up and called hubby back to tell him what I discovered. He thought I was confused until I explained the whole conversation. We decided that until our local Papa John's can answer the phone, we won't be using their services. I hate to be that way, but geez! If you get my order wrong, am I going to have to explain it to a random person on another continent or am I going to have to drive over there to get the...

Finally after a long time gave them a try today… I actually changed my 2 stars to 1… they served us a raw pizza. Not a little raw, unedible. I absolutely cannot believe how bad this was. We had to put the slices in the air frier and hope we don’t end up on food poisoning. So explain to me, is that what the tip feature is when we submit an order? Must tip to insure the product we literally paid for is don’t right and not going to make us severely ill? I have never ever lived in such a community where literally everywhere is absolutely horrible. People pleaze believe the low reviews, so many of these places don’t deserve business at all. There is no pizza place or food place in Jefferson. This is shameful

Ordered carry out. If they don’t see a tip for carry out they do not do your pizza well. Why am I suppose to tip for a carry out order? My specialty pizza that’s supposed to have extra cheese because it’s only cheese, had a paper thin layer. My two topping had plenty. Make that make sense! This location was good when they first opened but now have gone down hill significantly. My bf and I were debating to order from this location or one a few miles further because this place is lacking severely. Do they not know people tip cash as on pick up? We learned or lesson orders ago and don’t even do that anymore because they simply don’t care here. $25...

On Friday 7/5 I worked 12.5 hours with only 3 hours of sleep because of the holiday. So I decided to order pizza on my way home. The only reason the kids likes Papa John's is because they can dip the crust in the garlic sauce. I ordered 2 large pizzas with original crust, one with chicken and pineapples, one half pepperoni and half cheese, and 6 pieces of wings. When I got to the store the cashier was nice. When I got home and the kids opened the pizza boxes, they both where thin crust. So I called the store and the manager said "if I bring them back now he would fix them." I explained I worked all day and I live 21 minutes from Papa John's. So he put me on hold, after about 3/4 min the manager came back to the phone and said "Again you would need to bring them back tonight.
