Guadalajara Grill — Restaurant in Jefferson

I’ll start with the food had great flavor. Saturday evening and they were pretty busy I’m sure others like ourselves having some dinner after a visit to the local pumpkin patch. We had a party of 6 and the service was a little slower than I’d have expected. I asked the waiter some specific questions as there were a couple picky eaters in the group. My wife not liking onions ordered the (rather large)small nachos with shredded beef after being told they come out as just meat and cheese. She asked for some sour cream and jalapeños on the side but this is not what came out instead she got tomatoes, no big deal, onions sour cream and guacamole on top of her nachos. The jalapeño did arrive on the side. When I asked why my quesadilla with el pastor pork had pineapple in it the waiter just tells me there is no pineapple in it. When I explained the pineapple did not put itself in my quesadilla and showed him the small pineapple I picked out he just asked if I like pineapple and walked away. One of our party went several minutes watching the rest of the table with food because the waitress delivering the food stopped to take another tables order in the middle of serving us. I often wondered if I would ever see heaven. Little did I know that I would stumble upon in the tiny little town of Jefferson Oregon. This.Is.Amazing.

I regularly drive 40 minutes just to eat here. I have sent a half dozen people here and they have all been blown away. I am in the market to buy a house and have a greater likelihood of buying a house here because the food is that damn good.

I don't know how they do it, but their refried beans are the best I have ever had. Normally they are a filler for tortillas, an after thought. But here they serve them with tortilla chips and salsa and WOW. JUST WOW.

The fajitas are the best thing I have had. Their homemade tortillas are divine.

My only complaint is the menu. It's obscene, their are 50+ items to pick from.

If you eat here and don't like it, you're broken. Go to the doctor, preacher, therapist or local congressman and get help, because...

This is hands-down the best Mexican food in the Willamette Valley. I am very picky about the quality of food when I dine out. The carne asada, the chile verde and the fish tacos are all absolutely amazing.. There is seriously no reason to go to any other Mexican restaurant once you've eaten their food. They do not serve chili verde out of a can like so many Mexican restaurants do these days. Instead she makes the sauce from scratch and slow cooks the pork. It is absolutely to die for. Now lets talk desser. The flan is unlike any I've ever tried and is definitely made from scratch. But it is not just about the food here.
