I stopped in from outta town b/c I was referred to this place & I’m so glad I did. The food was delicious…not too spicy so I could actually enjoy the flavor of the food. The staff was outgoing & friendly. This pic is the 1st time I went, oxtail…greens & mac n cheese. I specifically told him I wasn’t coming back if wasn’t any good & guess what!?! I went back. 2nd time, I ordered the curry chicken…yams & cabbage so needless to say, any time I’m in JC…I’ll be stopping by! 😉 ~Signed~ Your Favorite Trenton Customer

its unfortunate what this spot has turned into. Selling old stale patties, molded bread, old and cold soups. if you care about your health do NOT spend your money here! they dont get alot of business which is why they are serving old products. They are barely getting by, to sell old food is crazy to add on top of that is crazy. Health department needs to shut this down IMMEDIATELY

I did enjoy the baked macaroni and cheese and fried plantains very delicious . Sadly there were cheap with the mac and cheese . The oxtail and rice and peas I didn't care for too much the oxtails were very small didn't have much meat on it and it wasn't seasoned very well tasted very plain and underwhelming . The rice and peas wasn't very good either it tasted a bit watery to my b.f and I . But I would order macaroni and sweet fried plantains by itself because that actually tasted...

I ordered take out from this place off of Uber Eats. And it went right into the trash! Horrible ox-tail. All hard fat. Couldn’t even remove it from the bone. Rice and collard greens have enough salt to kill a small town of people. Corn bread was tasteless, dry, and old, very light yellow in color. It broke into several pieces when trying to pick it up. STAY AWAY. The cook clearly doesn’t care and it shows. Don’t get sick...
