I am a good Pizza Hut customer and have been buying pizza from your company for over 10 years. Today, March 11, 2019 my family and I were treated with utter disregard and were not treated with respect by your workers in the Pizza Hut Located in 7652 Gessner Road, in Houston, Texas 77040 Store # 8262 First, I would like to point out some facts. Your employees all claimed to be managers (a girl and a guy named Tim), and they acted very unprofessonal. Second, The "supposed managers" did not try to resolve the situation but instead hung up on me, lied to me, argued against your pricing on your website and also refused to rectify the situation by insisting we go to their store at 10:30 at night to get a 5.00 refund when the mistake was theirs. Third, your employees tried to deceive me intentionally and were reluctant to do the right thing even if it was their mistake. This plays into what type of character they have how they are representing your company, which is quite bad. I ordered an Ultimate Cheesy Crust Pizza around 9:30-9:45pm tonight March 11, 2019 and a pizza arrived at our house around 10:30pm. When the time came for my family and I to eat we found that they had sent us the wrong one. Thinking they just had made a mistake we called the store and a girl answered the phone. I inquired about the mistake and her response was "oh yeah that's because we were all out of the Ultimate Cheesy Crust Pizza". I was amenable to the mistake but when she started being dishonest and lying, it later offended me. First I already found it unprofessional that they chose to just send me a similar pizza and not the one I requested without my permission. They do in fact have my contact information if any such scenarios come up. Another reason why I believe these employees in this location need to be retrained is because of their dishonest and deceptive behavior. When I talked to the girl she told me that in actuality the Stuffed Crust Pizza of the same version was more expensive so I am actually saving money. I found this doubtful and simply used the pizza hut online ordering system to fill out an order for the Stuffed Crust Pizza that was sent to me. The total for the Stuffed Crust Pizza came out to $14.06 and the original total I paid was $19.19 I continued..... and informed the girl of this and she simply argued that I was mistaken and I was saving money by getting the Stuffed Crust Pizza because it was more expensive. After insisting she was wrong she said "well you would have to come into the store if you want a refund of the difference or we can give you credit to your account of the difference". After hearing her response I found the statement illogical. I paid $3.00 for a delivery fee (not counting the $3.00 tip for the driver) and don't want them to hold my money for some future order that may or may not happen. Now in order to get the difference of my money back for their mistake I have to drive to their store in the middle of the night to have a refund done. Is it common for your employees to insist even if they are wrong for the client to accommodate them? After bringing up the fact that it is unprofessional to inconveince their customer for their mistake, I asked if she could just cancel the entire transaction and I would reorder the Stuffed Crust Pizza for the right price. She informed me she could not do that. At this point I just found her to be unhelpful so I asked to speak to her manager. She informed me she was the manager.I then asked her to please give the name of the District manager so we could complain about how inconvenient and unprofessional this entire ordeal was. The girl didn't seem to care because she then told me to hold and after two minutes hung up on me. I called back and a guy named Tim answered this time. After I explained the entire situation to him he just gave me the same unhelpful solutions. When we asked him for the girls name so we could complain he would not provide it. He just repeated what he said and said if we wanted to complain we could call in the morning and...
Read moreI'm guessing that this review will not change anything with the Pizza Hut business model but hopefully it will change your mind for ordering from there. I live 1.3 miles from this location on the same road as the Gessner location. We paid the $2.99 service fee figuring that was the tip for the driver on ordering. Turns out that Pizza Hut thinks this is a good "standard fee" to order a pizza online and does NOT pay the drivers tip with this. I'll be honest, I thought the driver was being dishonest when he told me he did not get any portion of that $2.99 so i called the manager just to verify. After the manager at this location confirmed what he had said, I explained my displeasure, as a customer, for this "corporate" nuisance charge on a medium pan pizza with one topping. We did tip the driver because corporate greed is not his fault. This one topping pizza ended up costing over $14. Still not horrible but geezer, I live in Houston, TX where we have an amazing variety of great mom n pops and other chain pizza joints that deliver in our area. Shame on me for giving "The Hut" a try after so many years. I polietely explained to the manager that I am not asking for a refund or a discount...I merely wanted to let her know that they have lost a customer for life over a $2.99 charge and wanted to ask her to pass that on to someone who might care. The pizza was mildly warm, the cheese had set up firm already and the zaa was mediocre at best anyway. While other chain pizza joints re-design, re-brand and re-invent themselves on TV and ad campaigns I guess life at the HUT is so good that they think the way you gain customers is charging them a pre-delivery fee for a 1.3 mile drive. My sincere apology to Silicy Pizza and Pasta, Marco's and even the Papa John's for even trying PH one time. Good luck Ph...you are soon to join the likes of Kmart, Target and Sears. Reinvent yourselves or start selling your stock...you'll need the...
Read moreI would have given zero stars if they would have given that option. I ordered on the app to this store by mistake. It was very late after a kid’s sporting event. I went to the store that I thought i had ordered from and that was when I realized I had placed the order for the wrong place. When I realized where it was I knew that I would be cutting it close to get it and so I attempted multiple times to call the store to let them know that I was coming and it would be right at the time they would be closing. I am assuming that they have people in a call center answering calls and passing them to the actual stores because I called multiple times and then was transferred to the store only to sit on hold for minutes at a time. I was probably on hold for the whole drive over to the correct location. I hung up and attempted to go in but the door was locked and lights were off. This was 1-2 minutes after midnight which is when they closed. I banged on the door but no one came. I finally left and order the pizza at the location I meant to and got my pizza but I was charged for the pizza from the incorrect location. I got on chat multiple times to complain. Each time they said they would pass my complaint to the management of that location to contact me and no one ever called me back fro me to ask for a refund. I would not recommend this place at all. Zero stars for food since I never received my order and zero stars for service since no one ever called me back. It has been several months since this happened and I have never been refunded...
