I've always passed by this place my entire childhood but never thought to go until my recent quest to try local donut/kolache shops. I'm so pleasantly surprised!! They are so close to my home, and they're SO good - how did I miss this place? Also their hours are 3 am - 2 pm! The kolaches are pretty average sized and priced, but the sausage to bread ratio is amazing (I prefer minimal breading), and they have some cool combinations like sausage/bacon/cheese kolache and also sausage/cheese croissant which I definitely want to try next time I go. When I asked why, the man behind the counter stated since he changes his prices just about every week he just tells people if they don't want them they can leave them. Read moreAs soon as I walked through the door, I was greeted warmly by who I'm assuming is the owner, and when I put in an order for a dozen glazed donuts and 4 kolaches, I was surprised to hear the gentleman in the back say he was making a fresh batch for me. The donuts were delicious, and although I couldn't enjoy the kolaches myself, my family said they were excellent as well.
