Simply Donuts — Restaurant in Texas

I've always passed by this place my entire childhood but never thought to go until my recent quest to try local donut/kolache shops. I'm so pleasantly surprised!! They are so close to my home, and they're SO good - how did I miss this place? Also their hours are 3 am - 2 pm! The kolaches are pretty average sized and priced, but the sausage to bread ratio is amazing (I prefer minimal breading), and they have some cool combinations like sausage/bacon/cheese kolache and also sausage/cheese croissant which I definitely want to try next time I go. They also have boudain kolaches and a couple others too. The shop owners were so nice and gave me 10 complimentary donut holes (they were alright! not too sweet which I like). I've been coming to this donut shop for years, since before these owners took over. The quality of the donuts went down hill since. The prices of the items are never accurate on the board. When I asked why, the man behind the counter stated since he changes his prices just about every week he just tells people if they don't want them they can leave them. I told him that was a rude statement to make especially since I had already ran my card. I will take the extra time to drive to a place that actually appreciates...

As soon as I walked through the door, I was greeted warmly by who I'm assuming is the owner, and when I put in an order for a dozen glazed donuts and 4 kolaches, I was surprised to hear the gentleman in the back say he was making a fresh batch for me. The donuts were delicious, and although I couldn't enjoy the kolaches myself, my family said they were excellent as well. I have to say, with my experience with the service and the quality of the food, we'll probably be making this our regular spot...
