WELL where do I start. I came in with my family and was already getting bad looks by the people here. Let’s just say we’re not their color. I already felt like we were going to get bad service so I had placed an online order for our baby, AND then had my husband place an order at the counter just to see the difference between the food as well. SO us being Hispanic, my husband was spoken to like he was literally a NOBODY, attitude loud voice and all, and the repetitive “is that all” after every item he asked for. He asked for sauces and they came out with, “there’s a 27cent charge for each” again said with a nasty attitude. After he placed the order he waited a bit until he saw they were about give us our order that he ordered at the counter, then notified them about the mobile order. The lady rudely asked “YOU have a mobile order?!” Confused like if we couldn’t afford it. So he politely said yes ma’am. Surely both orders were ready at the same time. NOW the comparison, the mobile order was made FRESH and hot! Even had overloaded the fries, then when we opened our counter ordered items, OLD and cold chicken! Mashed potatoes literally a small scoop, fries, old and stale! Ok so now after that, we’re about to leave and low and behold, a family of their same race came in, the woman that attended my husband,.. attitude and tone of voice COMPLETELY changed! All of a sudden she had manners, and customer service etiquette. Oh wait! How about the part where they asked for sauces MIND YOU, I heard their order and nowhere did they ask for tenders or nuggets. And nowhere did that woman say that there’s an extra fee for sauces! Now you CANNOT convince me that they’re not racist here. So if you’re Hispanic just place a mobile order so you won’t have to deal with the rudeness and get your food fresh. As for me, I’ll be staying away from this location. We took a picture of my counter ordered items, but couldn’t get one of the mobile order since our baby was ready to feast. Popeyes, do better! Only one man that’s an employee there was polite, other than that the rest just give bad vibes, stares...
Read moreI came straight to the window waited for 1 minute to be acknowledged. The gentleman ordered a 5 piece chicken tender combo the gentleman told me to wait one second. I did he came back to retake my order. 5 pc combo spicy. Asked what dipping sauce I told him blackened ranch. He told me to wait again. He came back asked me if that was all I told him I would like half and half tea, he said oh yea he said will that be it. I told him I would like my side to be fries he said ok. Any thing else I saw on the menu that cajun dirty rice was on the menu so I requested to have a large side order of it. And asked for a blackened chicken sandwich. An employee in the background stated it would be an extra 5 mins to cook that. I told him nevermind I don't want the chicken sandwich. Drove around and there was only one car waiting for there food/ drink. I waited for 18 minutes more behind this car. Drive up to the window. Gave him my card he gave it back. 2 minutes later he gave me the bag of food and drink. After I checked my order the chicken tenders didn't have fries, there was no blackened ranch dipping sauce, and the cajun rice was red beans and rice. I gave him the rice and told him I order the cajun rice he stated they didn't have that. But looking at the recipt it says red beans and rice. I told him I wanted a refund. Why would you ring in that if I order something else? Chicken tenders are mild and cold. This Popeyes have been struggling for some time now I very seldom come to this location and every time I do there's no wait this was at 5p.m. should have a line. And my order is always wrong/...
Read moreWhat IS it with Popeyes and their inability to get an admittedly simple and not very large order correct? I have several coupons for a "2 Can Dine" meal. Among other things, this meal comes with 2 biscuits. I consistently have asked for 2 additional biscuits to be included with the meal——an otherwise minor add-on to the order.
FIVE visits in a row (I would go there once per week or once every 2 weeks), the additional 2 biscuits were not included in the bag, even though I was charged for them and paid for them, as the receipt indicated. Sometimes I caught the error before I drove off, while 3 of the 5 times I didn't catch the mistake until I got home, at which time it was too late to do anything about it, other than call to complain. Unfortunately, THAT hasn't done anything.
When I call to complain, they ask me my name and tell me they will put it on a list so that the next time I go there, I can get 2 free biscuits to make up for their mistake. The problem with that is that more than once I was met with disbelief on the part of a Popeyes employee, and why one might ask? Because they didn't have any record or proof that I had paid for items I did not receive. In other words, I ended up on the losing end of all this.
And these are the folks who are demanding $15/hour or more for their pay? If you consistently cannot correctly do your job, why should you have your hourly pay...
