Good and bad. First impression was good. The place looks clean inside and out. Clean restrooms too ( not considering the large cockroach on the ladies room door). They had just seated a large construction crew of about 16, so I knew the service would be slow this day (10:00am Saturday), slow is understandable , but we were waiting for menus about 20 minutes. When I saw another family come in and get menus and orders taken in about 2 minutes, I thought maybe they don’t like us for some reason. When we started getting up to leave, the waitress noticed and talked us into staying. She seemed very apologetic and sweet. She was actually very outstanding in every way, she was just extremely overwhelmed with a flood of customers in a short time. My two main concerns were the quality of the food and the fact that the cashier over charged us on each and every item we ordered. He over charged exactly $1 dollar on each breakfast dish, and $.25 on each taco. The food was hit and miss. Examples, scrambled eggs were crumbly dry and slightly burnt. The bacon was hard, the potatoes had no flavor (no browning, they just looked boiled), the last criticism is the salsa. It looks and tasted much like the thin mild salsa that is served with Salvadoran Pupusas. The big hit was the pancakes. My son loved them, and I thought they were fantastic. The prices are great, the portions are good, but be sure to double check the final price at...
Read moreClean dinning and restroom areas were the first things that influenced my stars. Customer service was well appreciated as well, from the time we were seated until we left smiles and gratitude were offered. I ordered the Chimichanga Plate and a frozen margarita these items complimented my mood. The margarita was watery, and hard to detect flavor. I guess most small business owners of Mexican restaurants are choosing to use this thin chicken breast patty to prepare most dishes... I hate that patty!! It gives me an uneasy feeling because it taste so cheap . The rice portion was small Definitely not enough to enjoy with every bite of my chimichanga. The refried beans had an authentic taste to them that I enjoyed with all of the flavor included. Can sodas were over priced 1.50 per can. I wouldn’t say this restaurant offer the most authentic Mexican taste, It’s actually more close to tex-mex if you ask me. I don’t spend my money on tex-mex, I eat out looking for a taste that I’d have trouble creating on my own. Thank you guys for a nice sit down lunch, please consider advertising your food as Tex mex it would be well appreciated for...
