What a treat! Besides wonderful food I got to learn some history about the area and how immigrants from Gubio Italy settled in the area and brought their recipes and traditions with them. The pizza is old forge style. The soup was rich, homemade and worth driving through a snowstorm to get. The meatballs and gnocchi are both homemade and delicious. They don't have any sausage in the meatballs. The sauce. What can I say other than it was delicious and exactly how a red sauce should taste IMHO. And that bread! Can't forget that crusty chewy delicious bread. Lovely and priced right.

Great place to eat and have a nice family dinner. Fantastic pasta and lots of alcoholic beverages selection! The coal fired pizza in Dickson city is the best colarussos, however.

I have been going to this restaurant since I was a kid. I also order lunch for my staff from there too. Tonight I wanted to order the Ala Capresa. I googled it and the menu said it was $11.95. When I called to place my pickup order I was told my total was $16 and change. when I asked why so much they said their menu and prices have increased. I informed the waitress that took the call that the prices online were different. She just kept insisting that their prices increased. When I arrived to pick up my food she placed the menu in front of my face. I proceeded to find my item and notice that the price went from $11.95 to $13.50, not the $14.50 like she had stated. Again I asked her why she was charging me $14.50. The owner came out and told me that they upgraded their menu since that old menu. So basically the prices were wrong twice and there was no trying to fix it or make things right. I'm very disgusted by the way I was treated. The waitress was very aloof and kind of rude. Kind of rude like ignoring me type of rude. I really need to rethink where I'm ordering from in the future. They just ruined basically a 40 year relationship over $4. But when you think about it, the difference between $11.95 and $14.50 is about a 30% increase. 2 reasons why I'm probably not going to go back there anytime soon. Oh, if I should even mention a third issue that happened several years ago, now would be the time. We had a delivery person drop off food at my office. This gentleman proceeded to take a pair of Ray-Ban frames off my shelf and put it in his pocket. Three of us saw him do it and we were flabbergasted. He did come right back in to give me the receipt which he forgot. At that moment I said could you please check your pockets maybe while you were grabbing a tissue you accidentally put one of our frames in your pocket, and sure enough he whipped out the brand new Ray-Ban frame. I wasn't going to say anything about it to the owner but now after tonight's treatment of me, I'm seeing a trend in the way the people who work there and own the place treat their customers.

I wish I could attach photos here because I have a picture of all three different prices. It all could have ended differently if they just apologized and said sorry for the misunderstanding and gave me it for $13.50 or $11.95, it's the point of the matter. Definitely not valued as a customer.

To end on a positive note, food is always excellent! This restaurant does donate food and gift certificates to many nonprofits and local fundraisers which I personally have experienced. But it does not give them the right to devalue me as a customer. It's the principle of the matter here, not just the dollar or two...

Ordered for pick up 6 cut White pizza and Fettuccini Alfredo with shrimp and broccoli. The White Pizza was amazing, the best I ever had! The Fettuccini Alfredo on the other hand wasn't. The presentation of the pasta was sloppy! The pasta looked like left over lasagna noodles cut into strip's, not the typical fettuccini noodles you would expect, the shrimp was very tiny, the broccoli was overcooked and mushy, the Alfredo sauce had no flavor! The side salad had chick peas in it and rotten sliced onion in it so the salad went in the trash! Loved the bread though! I expected much more from a business I've heard so many good things about! The bartender was rude and disrespectful while 3 other waitress's stood and and watched the bartender acting like that and did nothing while my was order being picked up! You don't treat costumers like that! The bartenders in the wrong business treating the patrons of your establishment in such a way! 1st time customer to a last time customer...

Giving benefit of the doubt. Ordered take out which could be why it wasn't as good as people say it is. Opened face white pizza had great sauce and cheese but crust was tough. Fish and chips was great just fogot to put in the condiments (simple mistake not upset about that). Tiramisu was over priced for size and taste. Overall very average experience will probably try 1 more time in case this was just an off night.

Update: Went back and ate there this time. Still very disappointed. The waitress took our order brought drinks then disappeared for the 30 min until the food was ready. Even when she came back she tried leaving quick we had to call her back so we could ask for more drinks. The antipasto was good but the vodka sauce on the pasta was bland. I had to add much more parmesan cheese then I would normally so it would have a taste. One other person at our table sent their food back because it was bland and gross. It seems this is a place for pizza but...
