I may be a little stingy because I'm used to authentic Mexican food but I don't know. I ordered carne asada tacos, asked for onion and cilantro on corn tortillas. Got just marinated steak on flour tortillas. I added my own onion. Luckily my son enjoyed his quesadilla. My husband's enchilada had a bit of hair on it under the cheese so that was fun. The rice and beans were great but I was just really craving real carne asada tacos without making them at home but I may as well have. Another downer was the food was cold and I was there as they were putting it on the counter for pick up. For the prices and servings, it's not worth it. Don't bother making special requests on the online ordering service they provide, they don't follow them. I also ordered a side of beans and didn't get it. Frustrating to say the least. I really wanted to like this place since it's close but I'll just stick to cooking at home or driving to Savannah for the...
Read moreThis was my husband's and my favorite place to eat in Jesup. The prices are averaged, but what gets me is the new extra .25 charge on to-go orders for each tray. How else are we supposed to carry out a to-go order, in our hands?. To top it off, 12 oz. drinks are $2.50, I ordered a coke they gave me a coke zero. I called back to let the waitress know she explained someone poured the wrong drink in the machine last night, do you want to come back and get another one? The answer was no. How can you ask someone if they want to come back and get another drink after they have sat there and waited for 20 plus minutes? If you knew the wrong drink was poured into the machine, it should have been conveyed in the process of ordering. The food did not taste as good ad it used to. No flavor. No mexican flavor. When you go to a Mexican restaurant your expectation is Mexican food.
Due to my total disappointment, I will not...
Read moreThe waitress came to take our order, and again only to bring us our bill. We had to ask another waitress for more chips, and for to go items. My husband was in the bathroom changing our son who had spit up,and had a dirty diaper as many 3 month Olds do when he repeatedly had to stop to answer the door. It was the manager asking if everything was okay even after my husband told him he was changing his son. While my husband was paying the bill I was feeding our son,and the manager comes over to ask if we are okay. I am smiling while feeding my son who is not making a peep now that he is all clean so yes we are. I do not know if this man,the manager, does not have children,or just never had anything to do with his own,but newsflash babies cry sometimes. We will not be back, nor will we recommend this establishment to...
